Trick or Treat - Skeleton

Hi Everyone!


Hope your weekend was great! We had a B-day party and my Mom was here so not too much time to create but I did manage to finish this card that I started last week.  I still have about 3 more projects to finish. My little one started flag football and will have practice Tue & Thurs. My oldest will begin winter ball so my weeks are filling up. I will return to work Oct. 21st so I'm trying to create and then I can schedule posts when I can't find time to craft.
I created this card for two challenges this week. My Craft Spot - Too cute to Spook & Paper Cutz Challenge - Shake, Rattle, & Roll - A Cricut cut image of a skeleton or skull & crossbones, BUT make it CUTE and NOT SPOOKY!


So here is my card! I distressed the edges by lightly wetting the cardstock (just the edges) and then running my scissors along the edge. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtz vintage photo ink. Lastly I add stickles to the sign and some of the images on the background paper.

    Shelly, you did such a fabulous job with this! I love the skeleton's expression.. I think this is the first time the words "skeleton" and "cute" crossed my mind at the same time! ;) The inking looks amazing and I love the orange button and twine! :o) I hope all your busy activities are full of happiness, my friend!
