Yay it's Friday and NO SCHOOL! It's over, summer is here! 

Yes, today is the start of summer and Little Scrap Pieces FUN FRIDAY Summer Challenge! So pop over and see all the fabulous summer projects!

Here is my summer card.

I am in love with the new release from PKS. you can check it out HERE The mermaids face is from PKSC-18. I used to tear paper for a lot of my projects before die cut machines came along so I thought I would give it a go.

The mermaid is cut from Cricut cartridge Life is a beach. I tried something new and I just loved how it turned out.  I used a heart punch for her scales, can you tell?

I added a mound of MS chunky glitter to this card.  For the sand I actually made a paste of glue and glitter to give the sand dimension.

A little late... Fathers Day card!

Hi Everyone!

How was your day? We had a school end of year party, super fun lots of games. I was in charge of an obstacle course for 130 kids. One thing I learned today is...I'm out of shape :) 

I quickly wanted to enter this card into a few challenges. Peachy keen stamps is having a PKC 13-24 :: Just Cards :: Father/Grandfather challenge.  This was the original card I made for my hubby from my youngest son.

That adorable little guy is from Peachy Keen PK-123 I colored him and carefully cut him out :) I LOVE this image!

Little Scrap Pieces DT Post - White Wedding

Happy Friday!

Oh my gosh we only have 5 more days of school..... I'm so excited - you would think I'm going to school myself:) So today over at Little scrap pieces we have a White Wedding challenge. I don't know about you but I always have to buy a wedding card - there I said it - on occasion I BUY a card :( I never seem to have one on hand. 
So here is the most Clean and Simple (CAS) card I have ever made. 

Square card about 4.5" 

The stamp is from MCT

I used some stickles and I embossed the edges of the mat using my MS score board.

Added a HUGE white bow and that's about all.

I sure hope you will stop over and check out all the beautiful DT projects and then join in the FUN!

Just popping in to share a project I made for a few challenges. Did you all get a chance to see the new release from Peachy keen stamps oh my!! CUUUUTE! They have a  3D Birthday Challenge going on so I created a tiny little gift bag.

The cake is cut from Cricut Cartridge Simply charmed and that fun little face is from the New release PKSC-18

My little box is from TBBM Cartridge and that cute sentiment is from Jaded Blossom they are having an "Anything Food/Candy Related" challenge

Hey There!

Did you have a fun weekend? Warm weather? We had such a nice weekend, we spent it in San Diego for my nieces birthday.  Everything was great except we spent Saturday night in the ER with my youngest. Five stitches in his elbow and 5 in his knee - OUCH! He's doing just fine!

So I had a quick minute to make my card for the Peachy Keen Stamps This week is a sketch challenge and I still needed 2 more grad cards so I made a money holder - because let's face it what grad doesn't need a little cash :)
