I LOVE fall! I just want those warm fall colors all around me (even though it's still in the high 90's here). I really love to decorate my home for the holidays. So I created a little Fall decor.

I started with some Mason jars and thanks to many posts on pinterest I created some fun fall decor.
I just picked up some all purpose paint in the colors I wanted and painted several coats. The yellow and orange look better than the brown because I was a little impatient and didn't wait for it to dry before photographing:( Next I took a nail file and ran it over the words and then in various spots to  give the jars a distressed look. I added some pretty fall flowers and burlap twine and a cute tag.

The sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas Simply Said & Fall is from Cricut Gypsy font

  1. These look so good! I thought you maybe poured paint inside the jars and tilted, turned, and rolled them to get them painted, but painting the outside and then using the nail file is a GREAT affect!

Sorry to hear you are still having such hot weather although, I wouldn't mind some. It hasn't been to bad here..in the 60's last wk but they are saying we should be back in the 70's, yeah! I am certainly not ready for winter ..it's coming way to fast! Ugh!
