You are LOVE! Picture frame

Hi Everyone!

Oh my gosh what a week so far...pretty challenging to say the least! I've been working and it's just been a tough couple of days.  Although I'm really excited to post this little project that I made for the  Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge - 3D object using metal.
Well here she is....

That BEAUTIFUL little girl is my NIECE!!!  

I made a picture frame that I could hang on a cabinet handle in my craft room.

Are you wondering where the "peachy" face is.... I know, I had to restrain myself. I chose to use a  sentiment (or two) from the new Stamp of the month club - PKSC-14  here is a look at what I used (I circled them in red)

I really love this set and as you can see you can use the sentiments in a variety of ways!

Little Scrap Pieces DT Post - Emboss it!

Hi Everyone!
Wow, what a week! So glad the weekend is here and yay it's time for Little Scrap Pieces FUN FRIDAY! This weeks challenge is a fun one - It's being sponsored by our very sweet DT sister Lisa.
The challenge is to add some embossing on your project - any type heat or dry. Have fun with it and please pop over and see what the fabulous DT created.

I created an Anniversary pillow/Gift box for my Aunt and Uncle. Their Anniversary was on Valentine's Day so sweet. 

I chose to heat emboss, I love the effect and I think it can add a elegant touch.

The pillow box was cut from the Wrap it up Cartridge and using my Gypsy I hid the image so it would be a solid box.

I tried and TRIED to get a good picture but it was so hard :(

Have a Blast - Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful weekend - It's another 3 day for us so we were able to get away and relax and have some fun! I couldn't wait to receive my stamps for Peachy Keen Stamps - I created this robot during the week and as soon as the set arrived I added the SUPER cute face to my little robot! This weeks challenge is a "sketch" I'm so glad I was able to use my robot for the challenge. 

The robot is from the Boys will be Boys Cartridge & the face is from the Stamp of the month club - PKSC-14

Just wanted to pop in and post my card for the Peachy keen stamps challenge this week "Anything Goes". I combined a few other fun challenges as well. My Creative Time Designers Challenge - Emboss, Cuttin and Stampin Challenge - Use an Animal. 

I always need a thank you card so I thought I would take a little break from Valentine's day cards/projects to create this card. At the moment, my craft room is filled with so much pink and red that I kind of needed a break :)

A Lovely Blog Hop

I'm so excited for today! Sweet Jill over at Everyday is an occasion has put together another fabulous Hop. (Thanks for having me again Jill)  So if you popped over for a visit then you’re in luck you can follow along starting with Jill at Everyday is an occasion.  If you have been following along you should have come from Holly's at Ribbon's and Glue. This hop is all about Valentines Day – yep lots of hearts and Love :)

So I really wanted to create some bags to hold candy treats. I found the coolest canvas bags the other day at Micheals and that was it.... so here is what I came up with.

I cut felt hearts using a sizzix die and my cuttlebug then I used the zigzag stitch on my sewing machine to adhere the heart. I stamped the bags using Docerela Stamps - "Lovable" I also added some fun beads to each bag. Wow, I think I may have found a new hobby - beads are fun!

All filled up with treats and I thought this was great for my sweetie but.....

I couldn't help myself, I baked some Oatmeal Chocolate chip cookies

Made some fabulous coffee with pink whip cream :)

And this is how my hubby and I will spend our Valentines Day :) Hopefully, the day will be as nice as this one! Can you see the sunshine - AHHH I've missed it :)
