Sweet Summertime Co-Blog Hop Trendy Twine & SVG Attic

Welcome to the Trendy Twine-SVG Attic Sweet Summertime blog hop!  We are so excited to have you join us today!

Here is the project I created:
Oh my goodness, summer is officially here! I was so anxious.... we had the worst June Gloom and now sunny skies are here! I wanted to make a cute treat that combines the gorgeous Trendy Twine, the awesome SVG Attic files and the Beach so here's what I came up with.
I created some beach tote treats :) I used my imagination for these little totes. Basically, you can use any cup template and then instead of making the shape round just make an oval shape and pinch the sides just a bit. Add trendy twine straps (of course) and you can make them as small or large as you want. Mine are about 3 x 3.5. 
Just a note for the straps, you can just use twine by itself...but gluing the twine on the strips of paper first makes the straps stay up straight. 

 Next is the best part, decorating and embellishing. I knew I was going to use Lemon Tart Trendy Twine so I coordinated everything to match. I found an awesome summer file in the SVG Attic store called Fun in the Sun and used the two cute Suns.
Lastly, I added some fun saltwater taffy and chapstick :)

    Cute idea for cup shape conversion to beach tote. Love the sun design. These are so cheery. We had a rainy spring, too, and woke up one day to beautiful summer, and the next to hot hot hot. Thanks for your excellent vision and beautiful work. Wish I lived closer to a beach!
