Happy St. Patrick's Day eve! Do you make treat for SPD? I found the cutest tutorial and just had to try it out. It is so darn cute, it's perfect for all ages!

It holds the candy kisses so perfectly and is a very sturdy treat holder. Of course the extras sure make the treat just that much cuter. I used a sentiment from the APBs Feeling Happy Mood Stamps and our spotlight twine of the month Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.

Trendy Bakers Twine - Birthday Treat

Hi there!

Hope you're all staying safe and dry. I'm in Southern California and we are in disbelief of all the rain and snow. It's a very rare occasion to see snow/hail on the beach. At least I've had some time to get creative. 

This month we are spotlighting the oh so pretty Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine. Here's a fun little treat bag that I made for a birthday gift. I used the Biggie Glassine Envelope and decorated it with some banner birthday flags. I added the gorgeous Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine as the finishing touch. These envelopes are great for small gifts like earrings or gift cards. I just love them -- they give you a little peek at what's inside.

Have you bee over to the Trendy Blog? Are you looking for ideas for Valentine treats? Pop over to the blog and see some fun ideas. We have been spotlighting Pinkberry Sorbet and Raspberry Cupcake Trendy twine this month

Today I used Pinkberry Sorbet trendy twine, Library Pockets, and Greetings Stamp Set to create my Valentine treat.

These little Library Pockets can be used to add to your scrapbook, travelers notebook, or planner to hold notes, souvenirs, or mementos. But I thought they would be a perfect holder for a card and even better to add a little surprise inside.

I cut some patterned paper to fit the front of the Library Pocket and found some coordinating paper and cut to fit perfectly inside the pocket. I measured it just so I can add a sentiment from the Greetings Stamp Set to the top of the pocket. Next I added a sweet treat to the Valentine card and then tucked it inside the pocket. 

I added the twine in the form of two Xs on the front for a clean and simple look. These would be so easy to mass produce for you child's classroom Valentine exchange. You can grab 12 for $2.75!

Trendy Bakers Twine - XOXO Valentine Treat Pouch

 Hi There!

Hoping the new year is off to a great start. I'm sharing a Valentine treat with you today. Yes, I am already planning for the day of LOVE! I just love all things pink so I was excited for the Trendy Twine spotlight colors this month  Pinkberry Sorbet and Raspberry Cupcake.

I had fun creating this tiny treat using APB products and Trendy Twine. I started with two APB Chunky Tag its. I layered the tags about 1/4 inch on one another and used a strong adhesive. Next I scored them about 3/4 inch apart to create a bottom and so I had enough room for candy.

This gave me ample room to decorate this little treat. I used some pick polka dot pattern paper and two heart dies. I paper crimped the first heart layer and added a pink heart stamped with You & Me Stamp set. The final touch is always the best...  Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

We are busy planning more Valentine projects for you all to see throughout the month and I hope my project inspires you to create something homemade!

Here is a celebratory card for the new year. I started with the idea of using various twine to create a fun bow and use some APB sequins to accent the twine.

I also added a fun sentiment from the APB greetings stamp set.

Trendy Bakers Twine - Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

The Trendy team is celebrating with a team post and wishing you a very Merry Christmas! For my project I created the cutest little stocking stuffers. It's a long standing tradition in our family to give some fun and creative stocking gifts. Some are silly, some are cute but it's always so much fun!

I used Annies Paper Boutique Treat Packets  which are just so versatile and make treats a snap. The packets are card stock so they come with a food-safe baggie, so all you need to do is fill each one with some yummy goodies or fill it with a small treat as I did here. They are the perfect size for a nail polish, lip balm, or tiny fragrance. I just LOVE these packets for all my small treat gift giving.

Before I added the nail polish I decorated each packet with patterned paper and stamped with a sentiment from the Merry and Bright Stamp Set

And then each little treat got a little bow of Trendy twine.  Candy Cane Trendy Twine

Holly Trendy Twine & Krafty Red Trendy Twine were used to complete these adorable stocking treats.

Trendy Bakers Twine - Peace and Joy

Hi There!

Can you believe it's only 12 days until Christmas - GULP! I'm not one for waiting until the last minute but this month is really going fast and I can't seem to catch up. Well I did find time to make an adorable tag. We all need tags this time of year am I right?

I saw this cute design online and used it to create my tag. The tag is a die cut as well as the circle, bow and stars. I stamped the tag with a sentiment from the APB Merry Christmas Stamp set.

Once I had all the pieces cut and laid out, I decided where and how I wanted to use the Krafty Red Trendy Twine. I loved the original design so I left the twine under the paper bow but I needed to add just a bit more. The twine bow at the top of the tag was just the little bit it needed.
