It's a rainy day here in So. Cal. Great day to be inside. Here is a simple card that I put together just for fun. I really love this bumble bee. I used the Paisley cartridge, some scrap paper and ribbon from Joanns.
Today has been a great day so far. Spent the morning with my hunny, we tried a new restaurant. One from Diner, Drive-ins, and dives. (We love guy) It was so yummy!
Scrappy Mom Stamps is having their Terrific Tuesday Challenge. This time they want us to use Sweethearts. If you don't own this cartridge you can use a similar cut. I used Doodlecharms. I welded two cuts of the puppy at 4 inches and used my gypsy to find the right spot for the heart over his eye. I then cut a heart from the George cartridge and cut a hole in it for the eye. I cut a scalloped square using Storybook, placed the puppy on it and the puppy face lifts up and you can write the sentiment inside.
Robyn at My Pink Stamper is having a Birthday. She is giving a challenge to create something with a birthday theme. I have a card that I think suits her very well. I used my cuttlebug for the background, some paper from my collection, and the paisley cartridge for the kitty. The sentiment is printed from my computer.
First, I must thank Cooking with Cricut for the amazing honor. Their amazing design team chose my ladybug card (below) as a top 3 pick for the Glitermania challenge. I was head over heels! Thank you so very much!
So on to today, More than Favors is having a challenge. If you haven't been by her site, it's a must see. She does some amazing things! The challenge this week was to create giftcard holders. I created a gift card holder out of a purse. I used the paisley cartridge and gypsy. I just welded two shaped at the top. I added ribbon and a great little green button. On the inside I used a ribbon and positioned it just right so it is real tight to hold the card. I LOVE this paper. It is very old and I don't think the company is in business any longer. It is called imagination project.
Paper Playtime is having a challenge. For this week’s challenge you need to use the word “Love” on your paper project.
I created a shaped card out of the word Love.I just love the way it came out!I used my Gypsy to create the card.I used the Lyrical Letters cartridge for the letters and gypsy wanderings for the heart.I dry embossed the letter “E” with the cuttlebug and used glitter on the letter “V”.
Today is a perfect day for an ice cream. According to my family any day is a good day for ice cream. Here is a card with lots of pizzazz. The ice cream cone is cut from the sweet treats cartridge and I used brown glitter glue on the top scoop and glossy accent on the cone. The ribbon is from Micheals, and the sentiment is from my collection of fonts on my computer.
I have been having a blast! I can't tell you how much your kinds words mean, I appreciate them so much! Here is a quick little card I made for a wedding. It was so simple but I think it turned out nice. I used the Stamping cartridge for the heart and sentiment. I tried the glossy accents on the heart and WOW did I fall in love with that. I just love paper....
