Little Scrap Pieces DT Post - Congratulation to the Graduates!

Hi Everyone!
Do you have fun plans for the weekend? Well to start it off in our normal fashion we have a new challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces.  This weeks FUN FRIDAY challenge is all about graduates.  We have quite a few graduations this year so great time for this challenge:) Please pop over and check out all the inspiration and join us for the challenge. Here is what I have for you today.

I used a cut from a very OLD OLD cartridge - Beyond Birthdays (it may have been my very 1st cartridge other than the ones that come with the machine.

Added some stitching a die cut button & finished it off with some jute twine.

Hi Everyone!

Did ya have a great weekend? We had a wonderful time barbecuing, going to our block party, & we even caught a Galaxy game.  We made the most of our 3 day weekend :) I even had some time to make a card for a few challenges. Of course I used my Peachies for the PKC 13-21 :: Anything Goes and cam up with this.

I used the live simply cartridge for the mushrooms & Frog. The frogs face is from PKSC-14 and I just hand drew the mouth.

Little Scrap Pieces DT Post - Lets Hear it for the Red, White & Blue!

Hi Everyone!

Are ya ready for the weekend? I am, I am!! I'm sure a lot of you will be grillin it up :) We have a block party every year so it's a ton of fun! It's also that time again Little Scrap Pieces - Fun Friday. This week we are thinking about red, white and blue! So come on over and join us! Here is what I have for you....

I used the MCT 3x3 trifold card die for the invitation base & the I'm Here For You Rain Or Shine Stamp Set for the invitaion.

The celebrate stamp is a dollar store find :) and the buttons are MCT also. Finished it off with some glitter, stitching, and a little jute and there ya go!

Peachy Keen Challenge Photo Inspiration

Hi Everyone!

Our week is certainly off to a heartbreaking start :( My heart is with the families in OK. 
If you had a chance to pop over and see the challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps then you had a look at the photo challenge.  I just love the PKSC-16 set. It has the cutest flowers and I use them all the time. Here is what I created for the challenge.

I added some zig zag stitching and some burlap from Liz's Paper Loft (oh she's having a sale for her anniversary :)  Maybe I should share the inspiration photo

Little Scrap Pieces DT post - Shape Card

How's everyone? Busy? Ready for the weekend? I hope by now you are all getting some nice weather. We have had some GORGEOUS days! 

So this week at Little Scrap Pieces  our challenge is to create a shaped card. Now, I love a good shaped card but I can't always find a card cut that suits my interest, so I usually use my gypsy and just weld two images together. Exactly what I did for this project.  Recently, we had Teacher Appreciation week and I haven't shared all of the fun things we did so I thought I would share the little card I attached to one of the gifts for the week.

I welded two shadow cuts from Cricut Cartridge Simply Charmed

Just quickly trying to enter my card for the Peachy keen Stamps Challenge - Just Cards Mother/Grandmother. I just love the new faces from PKS. So here is a CUTE card that I made for a special mommy from her princess :)

I used a sketch from Friday Mash up - Create a project using "the sketch" or Create a "set of cards" Or Mash it Up and create a "set of cards using the sketch". I used the adorable face stamp from PKSC-15

I created this cute apron using Paper Doll Dress up & Tie The knot I just welded a flourish to the apron shape to create the strings.
