And now for my project....

I chose to use the "Congrats" sentiment from the Simply Said You can purchase HERE
I started with my color scheme which I knew I wanted gold and white, but then I saw black stripes and knew that would be perfect.  I hand drew the stripes - I didn't want them to look perfect. I cut some champagne flutes from the Cricut Tie the knot.

Paper - Bazzill, glitter gold paper - Recollections
Gold star sequins

Next up on the Line Up is the super fabulous Mayra.

Be sure to hop with us tomorrow!!! Winners will be picked from a different blog each day, so the more you comment the more chances you have to win.

CDD Gallery - We'd love you to share your projects using the CDD stamps.

Boo! "You've been Booed"

Hi Everyone!
I'm stopping in to share a cute little project. Have you heard of "You've been Booed" well if you have then you know it's a fun little game you play near Halloween. You secretly leave some treats on your neighbors doorstep and leave a little note letting them know they've been booed. It's a FUN game the kids look forward to during the fall. Typically, you pick one or two neighbors and then they pick one or two and so on..... But last year I noticed that a few were missed, so this year I thought I would still do a fun basket or two but I also thought I would make a few more simple treats for some of the older neighbors that love all our kids so much!
It's a fun little door hanger. I haven't purchased the Art Philosophy cartridge but I did get the idea from the cartridge.
For the Door Hanger I used my gypsy and the Cricut Cartridges Tie the knot, George & Wild Card

The "Boo" is from the Cricut Cartridge Robotz & the ghost is from Mini Monster

 Door Hanger approx. 6" x 3
Paper - DCWV
Stamps - Eyes are from PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment
& the mouth is from PK-532 PK-532 Simple Sallies 1 1/8"
Ink - Tim Holtz
Machine Stitched
Challenges:
Die cuttin divas - Color Challenge (Use yellow, orange, grey and purple)
Little Scrap Pieces - Stitch it (real or faux)

Gift Card Holders

Hi Everyone!

Today I have a gift card holder for you.  I was asked by a local boutique to come up with some ideas for gift cards and gift wrapping (for jewelry). So here is what I came up with for the GC holder. I left the inside blank (at their request) for their branded gift card. They want to adhere the card with special glue instead of slits to hold the card.  I thinks this was a great idea because you don't really need an envelope.  I can also punch a hole at the top of the card and they can hang/display them on the sales counter.  Super plain and nothing cutesy! It's not that kind of boutique. I had this idea in mind and then saw the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge. Create a card or other item and include a rectangle and a triangle on your project. Fits in perfectly! Hope you enjoy! Wish me luck, hope they like it!

Cartridge - Tie the knot, TBBM
Paper - DCWV - Mi Casa Stack
Ribbon - Micheals
