Trendy Twine - Marshmallow Treats

Hi there!

Hope everyone is doing great today! I have some super yummy treats to share today using some awesome Trendy Twine products! We are showcasing Halloween Trendy Twine this month and I'm sharing Halloween Orange Licorice. 

I have wanted to use these awesome Paper Straws from the Boutique and finally had the time to put these together. So simple and wow they add such a great pop to your Halloween table.

They are just so festive and sooooo yummy!

I just got the jumbo marshmallows and dipped them in white chocolate and then I found the perfect sprinkles to match these adorable straws and just poured them all over the white chocolate. It may be a little late to make these for Halloween but the shop has some AWESOME Christmas colors too :)

I tied the Halloween Orange Licorice onto the straws and then poked them through the marshmallow. Super simple treat to create for fun or for a party!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Happy Halloween

Happy Tuesday!

This week over at Die Cuttin Diva's we have a Happy Halloween challenge! So come join us and show us your spooks, and goblins or your tricks and treats :) Anything Halloween with a die cut.

As you can see, I made a card and you might also be able to tell that we are still getting very sunny and hot weather. It was 82 yesterday, I know I shouldn't complain but I just want some Fall weather.

I used lots of my creative time die cuts and fun Halloween paper.

I love the sentiment from different stamps by My Creative time.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Photo Inspiration

Happy Tuesday!

Are you getting ready for Halloween? I actually haven't even decorated :( it's been so warm here that I just haven't been in the mood. I need to get moving.... and this photo inspiration sure helps put me in the Halloween mood. I created a fun little tag for some Halloween treats.

My little tag with a glittering spider :) wish they really looked that CUTE :) My inspiration came from the upper right picture of the Photo collage.

I found some background paper that was just perfect and then I used a die cut tag, web & spider from My Creative time. I added a big satin bow and my tag was complete.

Trendy Twine - Broomstick Treats!

Happy Monday!
I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing some Broomstick treats showcasing this months goodies,  Skinny Candy Bags & Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine. 

I saw this CUTE idea on Pinterest. I wanted my broomsticks all black so I filled the skinny bags with Black licorice. I just took 2 - 2" x 8" strips of black card stock and just made cuts about 1/8 an inch apart leaving about a 1/4 of an inch space from the top. 

I wrapped the cardstock around the bottom of the bags and GENTLY curled the strips with scissors. Be gentle or you will pull out your strips and be left with a very skinny broom :) 

I tied the Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine around the top of the strips and then added a die cut label and fun sentiment.

I embellished the label with some more Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine and added the NEW Orange Licorice Batty Halloween Sequins

These were so easy and what a fun treat to hand out to the kids for Halloween :)

Die Cuttin Diva's - Popcorn Month

Happy Tuesday! 
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge! This week is a really fun challenge, in honor of Popcorn month make a project inspired by a movie or make a popcorn box :)

I have been wanting to make some fun popcorn for a while and I finally had a little time to make Halloween popcorn.

I started with these super FUN Popcorn treat boxes from the Trendy Boutique.

I made a label using a die cut and Sentiment from My Creative Time. (I made another fun project using these adorable dies cut so check back on Monday for more Halloween fun)

...and last but OH SO NOT LEAST I added some popcorn drizzled with white chocolate. I added some food coloring and shimmer powder for the perfect Halloween touch!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday! 
How are you guys doing? Are you enjoying Fall? We had an actual Fall feeling day yesterday :) I was wearing Jeans - I haven't had on Jeans during the day in months. It's been so HOT here by the beach that we wanted to plan a vacation to Canada to cool off :) I have been wanting to go for so long but every time we have the free time to go it's during winter and this Cali girl would probably freeze up like a Popsicle :) 

Well, it's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge! This week is our sketch challenge. I really like this one, I just love how you can interpret these sketches and make them fit your style. 

I obviously started by making a card in a landscape version as opposed to portrait. However I still kept the sketch the same.

I have had this distressed paper for a really long time and was actually going to give it away at our Garage sale but changed my mind. I used a fun camera die cut from sizzix and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom.

Trendy Twine - Batty Sequins

Hi There Everyone!

Today the Trendy Twine team is sharing some fun with you! We are introducing the NEW Batty Sequins. These are a festive little mix to add to your Halloween crafting. There are three sets: Orange Licorice Batty, Lime Licorice Batty, Grape Licorice Batty  and they coordinate with our Halloween Trendy Twine Colors!
I got to play with the Orange Licorice Batty and create a fun tag for a Halloween treat.

I started out with a die cut film strip and made a fun shaker out of it. I used some spooky Halloween paper and added these awesome new Orange Licorice Batty sequins. I embellished the tag with a ghost and a bat and of course some Orange Licorice TT

I filled a tin Halloween bucket with some YUMMY cookies and tied them with more Orange Licorice TT.
