Die Cuttin Divas - Anything Goes

Happy Tuesday!!

It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's challenge is Anything Goes. I know this is a fan favorite! Come join us and show off your creativity!
I have been wanting to try one of the ink splattered technique cards that are so popular right now. I LOVE the CAS look of these cards so I tried it out, and tried it out, and tried it out :) Well it is super easy.... except when you want to have the splatter only in one area.  So I quickly learned that I needed to mask off the parts that I don't want the splatter :) Oh and I used ink and a little bit of paint watered down, and here is how it turned out.
I used a large paint brush and a very thin brush. I added a GREAT die cut from Paper Trey ink and it was complete.

If you want to have some fun or let the kids have some fun.  Lay some newspaper or plastic down, cut a bunch of card bases and let the kids have a blast. Use small and large brushes for different size splatters.  Make sure they wear gloves :) My boys fingers were orange for days :)

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the DT and join us for the challenge! We would love to have you.

So Last week I had a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit but boy did I find my Christmas mojo :) I can't wait to share these tags with you. I think the majority of my projects this Holiday will be tags... I never have enough. So here are my Elf tags.

So I started with fun tags from Lil inker designs and Echo park paper
Next I cut the boy and girl elves from Cricut Create a friend and sparkled them all up. I stamped their cut little faces with Peachy Keen stamps PK-1320. I tied the tags with some celebrations ribbon, some Totally Natural Trendy Twine and some jingle bells.

Last but not least I stamped "Happy Holidays" from the CDD stamp set Happy Celebrations

Happy Celebrations

Don't forget... if you purchased a set from CDD, please make a project and enter the challenge or join the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery and show us your creation!

Die Cuttin Divas - Christmas in July

Happy Tuesday!!

It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's challenge is Christmas in July. Does that challenge scare you a bit, just a tad... Christmas? I just finally got in the Christmas mood :) I started to worry that maybe I was becoming a little "Scroogish" but I think it's the 80 degree sunny weather and being at the beach everyday :) makes it tough to think of snowmen and Santa :) I know I will need PLENTY of little treat bags for the Holidays and so I took this opportunity to create these...

Pretty simple treats. I cut 3 x6 rectangles and then die cut a fancy edge folded in half and you have a simple easy but CUTE topper for your treats.

I added the buttons and boa for the Santa suit and same for the snowman :)
Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the DT and join us for the challenge! We would love to have you.

Happy Monday!

Today is the Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!! Welcome to our mid post for this weeks "Summer Time" Challenge Linky Party. Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.

This week the DT is using Trendy Twine with our projects - How awesome is that, both my DT's together...pretty cool huh?

So part of summer to me is of course the blue sky but also eating Popsicles outside on the front porch. So I incorporated both in my "Sweet Summertime" card.

I started with a fun ice cream cut from the Cricut Cartridge Simply Charmed and added a Peachy Face from the June kit of the month PKSC-30 and some Blue Berry Trendy Twine.

Paper - Basic Grey

Craftin Desert Divas "Bring on the cake"

Hello Everyone!
It's my day to share a card over at Craftin Desert Divas. Today's card is inspired from the newest release stamp sets "Bring on the Cake". What a FUN set this is!!! I showcased "HB2U" HERE & " A pinch to grow an inch" HERE. Today I'm showcasing "... and many more"

I made this fun birthday card using a cute clown stamp but first do you notice the background behind the clown? Yep, those numbers are from the new set also! I also used one of the older sets Simply Said for the Happy Birthday.

I used blue, green, & orange so I can use this card for boys :) I added some stitching and used my copics and colored pencils for the clown.

Look at that beautiful stamp... It looks printed doesn't it? These stamp amazing!!

Die Cuttin Diva's Wedding or Anniversary Card

Happy Tuesday!!

It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's challenge is to make a wedding or anniversary card.  I will say that I tend to buy (yes I said buy) Wedding or Anniversary cards.  It just seems like I never have one or I'm running late so I just buy one on the way to the wedding :( Well I took this opportunity to make an Anniversary card for friends that celebrated 20 years :) they renewed their vows in such a special ceremony, we were so happy to spend the day with them!

I used a quickutz heart die to cut the paper and layered the red under the tan.

Paper - American Crafts

I LOVE the USA - 4th of July Home Decor

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are enjoying your day! Today I have a quick little project I made for my house.  I have had a bunch of red frames from my son's nursery that I kept in hopes of using them again.  I have used 2 of the 8 - hey it's a start :)

I just made a 4 x 5 flat card and just used removable tape to adhere it, so I can use it again for Valentines or Christmas. I designed the "I LOVE the USA" on my gypsy. I also used Scrappy Mom stamps Chevron die for the background (Love this die)

Paper - Bazzill & American Crafts

I'm entering this in a few challenges
