Happy Monday!
Time to celebrate with Trendy Twine! This month the DT is spotlighting Celebration Trendy Twine! Today our group post is all about Birthdays!! Make sure you pop over to Trendy Twine and check out the other DT projects! I created a fun card to highlight this gorgeous twine!

I started with this fun Disney paper and used a fabulous circle theme.  I keep seeing circles everywhere :) I tied the twine around the paper and then made a double bow at the end in the center of the MCT cirlce die.

Sentiment is from MCT Pretty Spring set & the label is made from MCS banner dies.

Happy Monday!

There are some pretty AWESOME fun fold cards out there, the tutorials are everywhere so it shouldn't be hard to find one. Our DT has some amazing creations! I just made a SUPER simple trifold card using a baby theme.

I made my folds and then lined each side with DCWV paper and stamped the front with CDD - Snips and Snails - such SUPER cute baby sentments!

I trimmed the edges with Lemon Tart Trendy Twine and cut "Boy" with the Cricut Plantin Cartridge

Die Cuttin Divas - For the Boys (masculine Card)

Hi Everyone!
Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's theme is for the Boys! For once in my card making history I actually have a a few masculine cards in my box :) I tend to wait until the last minute to make "Boy" cards :) So since I had a few I thought I would share a layout I made a while back but never shared.

This is my oldest son sliding home during a game for his high school team :) I LOVE this picture - in fact I've have it in my craft room for years. I'm glad I finally did something with it. Now it's in a frame :)

For my project I made a card using the "Picture That" set

I used the smallest picture frame and made a shaker out of it.  Okay I don't own a silhouette YET! but I figured out a way to cut a frame using my gypsy. It was actually pretty easy. The actual stamp is 1-5/8 L x 1-7/16. So you'll want to make the frame about 1/4 bigger using a rectangle. Okay easy enough :) Now the hard part, you must center a square in the correct place for the stamp to line up. Well if you own a cricut and a gypsy - you're in luck I did the work for you. So using the George cart create a rectangle at 1.75w x 1.84h and inside square 1.23w x 1.14h. The only part I can't help with is the actual placement of the center. But if you play with it and get it to look close to position on the screen then you can move it a bit after you cut it. I hope that makes sense, you can always email me I can try to help further :) 

After that part was done, I made my shaker and added some fun sequins a CDD sentiment from Simply Said. The paper is from American Crafts paper pad.

Craftin Desert Diva's May Release Sneak Peeks Day 4 - Picture That

Welcome to Craftin Desert Divas Sneak Peek Week! We are already on Day 4, have you been enjoying all the fabulous projects from our AWESOME design Team? We've got some FUN in store for you.... Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of the five new stamp sets. Then, on Saturday and Sunday we will have a blog hop with prizes each day. The design team has some amazing creations to start this stamp release party. We also have 2 guest designers Glora from Glora's Craft and Jessica from Too Cute by Jessica will be joining in the fun too.

Today we are showcasing the "Picture That" stamp set.

Oh my gosh I fell in LOVE with this font! Isn't it AWESOME! I wanted to make something that made me think of a Happy Day!

 

First thing I thought of was "Oh Happy day" So I added the "Oh" using my Gypsy. Then I used my cricut to find a kite and some clouds :) Looks like a Happy day to me!

Die Cuttin Divas - Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!
Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's theme is Birthday card! How AWESOME is that theme. Pull out your calendar and see who's birthday is coming up and make them a special card :) I did just that, I have a cousin who LOVES the outdoors and camping so I thought this would be a CUTE card to send :)
