Die Cuttin' Diva's - Animals

Hello There!

Hope everyone's week is off to a good start. It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have a fun challenge all about animals. I'm sure a lot of you are working on Easter projects so come show off your Bunnies or any animal project with a die cut.

I went in a completely different direction. I found this cute hedgehog that I cut a VERY long time ago and I am determined to use things I have. I'm doing great so far. 

So I added a cute peachy face (also a stamp set I haven't used) and added this little sweet little hedgehog to a circle die cut. I used a CDD sentiment that was perfect for this little sweetie. 

I used some fun paper and some Orangesicle-Trendy-Twine to complete my card!

Trendy Twine - Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Release

Hi there and welcome to the Trendy Twine Thanksgiving stamp release. We are so thrilled to be sharing our new stamp set with you today. The design team has created some awesome projects for you with some really FUN inspiration to start getting you in the mood for Fall.  This fabulous set sure got me wanting to decorate. So I created a banner for my fireplace. I'm pretty clean and simple when it comes to decorating so I wanted a banner to match my decor.  

 I used some flag dies and just cut script letters and adhered them to the kraft card stock. Very simple :)

At each end I created a little more detail and layered the dies in various sizes and then added an oval stamped with a sentiment from the NEW Thanksgiving set.

The font is so CUTE!

I wanted to use different colors and I just love oranges and blues for Fall.

Another very CUTE font! 

 I tied the banner with the most perfect twine color for Fall Orange Truffle Trendy Twine 

I love how it turned out and I think it's a nice addition for Fall.

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Sunglasses

Hello,

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD. This week it's all about sunglasses! I've been wearing mine non stop, we're having a bit of a heat wave here by the beach :) That's okay I love my shades!

I made a really simple card with some pretty pink sunglasses.

I started by cutting my pattern paper with an edge die by MCT. I then cut a pair of sunglasses using my cricut.

I used a sentiment from Craftin Desert Diva's and shaped it to fit the curve of the paper.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe

Hello!

This week over at Die Cuttin Diva's we are having a really fun challenge! It's a Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. You pick any 3 squares and let us know which 3 you picked and of course include your die cut :)
I chose the 3 right down the middle. Glitter, Holiday colors and snowflakes.

I used some really pretty snowflakes from Lil inker designs and my center stamp is from Craftin Desert Diva's Word Art stamp - One of my very favorite stamps!

I used lots of green and red holiday paper and extra sparkle :)

Die Cuttin Diva's - Pumpkins or Scarecrows

Happy Tuesday! 
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge! This week it's all about Pumpkins or Scarecrows. I still can't believe we're this close to Fall, we're still getting 90 degree weather. I hope the cool Fall weather comes to the Beach land very soon. Even though the weather has been warm it sure didn't stop me from decorating the house for Fall. I put out all my pumpkins and Fall foliage and it was very easy to get in the Fall mood. I saw a great cut on the Miss Kate Cuttable's site and I just had to cut it and put this little cutie on a card.

Oh my gosh...look at that pretty pumpkin and that sweet little ghost!

I used some old AC Halloween paper and made a fun tag for the Craftin Desert Divas sentiment Ghostly Greetings and tied the tag with a tiny bit of Black Licorice Trendy Twine. The adorable cut can be found at the MKC site here

If you didn't know, I'm a bit of a rebel when it comes to sketches... I don't always follow the sketch exactly, so here is mine.

I started with gorgeous Trendy Twine as my color inspiration and then used some awesome cloud die's from Lil inker designs and a grass die from CDD as well as that adorable snail and sentiment!

First I created a fun shaker card with the Under the Sea stamps and dies

Using circle dies I created a shaker style card and added an ocean watercolor background.

Oh my gosh, next I used the ADORABLE octopus and colored them in Hot pink :)

Lastly, I added a fun sentiment and some Emerald Isle sequins. This set is just way too cute! You will love the coordinating dies... they are so awesome! 

I also created some sweet tags using Under the Sea stamps and coordinating dies and Tag Essential Dies

I have to say that whale is my favorite! I stamped the fish and whale on the dies and the colored them up up. I water colored some stripes on the small tag from the dies set and added the sea life to the tags. I stamped some fun sentiments and added twine. Simple little tags for gift bags.

....and last but not least I had to use the adorable crab from one of the mini sets.

For this card I used the landscape dies and added some sea salt to mimic sand. Yep I just added a few drops of bronze ink to color the salt. I then just simply glued it to the die cut. That's the part I didn't like because you can see the glue :( but I just wanted to try something new. It adhered pretty well, I just don't know how long it will last :) I hand cut the crab after I colored him up. The clouds are from the sky is the limit dies set. 

If you don't own any CDD stamps I think this is a set to start with! It has some awesome designs and you can take advantage of the bundle price.
