Eater Bunny Treats with Trendy Twine

Hi There Trendy Fans!

I'm over at Trendy Twine today sharing some fun bunny treats using the most gorgeous Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine & Small Candy Sacks

While shopping in a party store I found some pink and green candies and knew instantly where these were going!

The flat bottomed candy sacks were just perfect for my little bunny treats. I decided to adhere a little grass to the bags before I put the candy inside. Next, I dropped the candy inside and tied them with the Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine and added a sweet little tag.

I used a scallop and circle die from MCT and a die cut bunny. I tied my Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine into three knots very tightly until it formed a teeny tiny bunny tail :) I just think the kids will love these for Easter... As long as I don't eat them first.

Die Cuttin Diva's - St. Patrick Day

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge! This week we have a St. Patrick's Day Challenge. Get out your green, shamrocks, leprechauns... whatever inspires you for St. Patrick's Day and come join us!

I made a pretty simple "Good Luck" card.
I'm pretty sure I have a bit of an obsession with my glittery gold paper. I think I pull it out for every project... I just LOVE how it looks with every color!
I started with a nice clean wood grain card stock, and then pulled out some chevron dies. Would you believe I found the horseshoe in my die cut box just waiting to be used :) I attached two strips of the chevron die cuts but it wasn't enough... a third was too much (I sound a bit like Goldilocks) and so I actually used the piece of scrap from the green die cut and it was just right :). Popped the horseshoe on top of the chevrons, stamped a little good luck and voila...Finished. Thank for stopping by and hope to see you join in the fun!

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the DT and join us for the challenge! We would love to have you.

I created a birthday card with a Green theme ":) So I guess it would be perfect for a boy, but girls love green too so that worked out great! I wanted to share something with you today. I had an email from a company that asked me a few questions about my Crafting/creative process, among a few other questions. Honestly, I think every time I enter my craft room I have a different intention....Quick, simple, fun, fussy, artistic, necessity, and the list goes on. So just for fun I thought I'd share my process on this card.

I really lwanted to see if I could make a card in under 15 minutes which includes the inspiration, design, and elements. I mean literally walking into my room and leaving it 15 minutes later with a card in hand :) So I sat down and pulled out my CDD's stamp set Bring on the cake So I may have cheated a bit because I guess the theme was already set for me with the whole "Green" thing. (It doesn't matter anyway because I still didn't make the 15 :)) This sentiment stood out to me as I thought it would look great on a circle die cut... I pulled out my circle and scallop punch.
Next I got out a paper pad from Basic Grey that had a few shades of green and just picked three of my favorites. Next I cut the scallop and circle and stamped the sentiment and then matted them on the lime polka dot paper. But something didn't look right. I originally had a lime green color instead of the white I ultimately chose. But this is why some cards usually take a little longer that 15 minutes :)
With the white card stock  I could color in the image and get a much more clean look. Lastly, I added a black and white striped ribbon. Not sure where that inspiration came from but I liked it. The white circle card stock still needed something. Adhered the scallop to the ribbon and adhered the lime polka dot paper to white card stock.  So at about the 18 min mark (HAHA) I punched three small black circles and glued them to the bottom of the circle and added some glossy accents. I think I finished it under 20 minutes. It's hard for me because I always change my mind :) Thanks for visiting and sticking around to the end. I really appreciate it!

Craftin Desert Divas - Animal theme week

Hello CDD Fans!

It's day 6 of the animal week at Craftin Desert Divas! How much fun has this week been? Aren't all the animal projects so cute? Today I'm sharing a card using an older set punny. This set has some of the cutest sentiments, it is still one of my favs!

I found an adorable cut file from KaDoodle Bug Designs Cutesy Zoo Animals. Isn't this elephant cute?

I used some fun valentine paper and some pretty pink embellishments from my buddy Helen :) I stamped an  adorable peachy keen face and inked up this little elephant for some dimension.

I used this fun sentiment, so cute huh?
That's all I have for you today so make sure you leave a comment for a chance to win $10 to the CDD store!

Die Cuttin Divas - Odd Card

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge! This week we have an interesting challenge for you. This week we are challenging you to make a different type of card. Maybe an Accordion, Trifold, Window, Shaped, Twisted, Easel etc. Just No STANDARD Rectangle or square)
So I'll admit I'm a little plain or simple when it comes to cards - Rectangle or square is it for me...maybe I'll go a little wild and make a circle card but that's about it :) I LOVE shaped cards I did used to make some but it's been a while. So I created something I thought was pretty cool. I know I saw it somewhere but just can't remember... Although it's very easy to make.

I made a file folder card! I actually used a file folder as a template and just sized it to fit my card.

I used a die cut for the note pad paper and a die cut for the speech bubble.

I thought this would be a cute card to send to my son's teacher.
Speech Bubble - Sizzix
Note pad die - My Creative Time
Paper - Basic Grey, recollections
