Just a Note...

Hi Everyone!
Hope you all are enjoying your weekend! I am enjoying time in a VERY quiet house! All the boys are at baseball practice and I'm home starting dinner (Homemade Spaghetti - YUM) While my sauce is bubbling away I wanted to post a card I made for a few challenges. Also, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Diana over at DL ART for the Authentique paper pad. I've used it in my project, it's just a beautiful selection of paper!!

The Bird cage/flowers are from the cricut cartridge Bloom & the birds are from Joys of the season. The pattern paper is from Authentique and the rest is scraps.

CWC Challenge Winter Warmies

Hi Everyone!

I saw the challenge over at Cooking with Cricut and it looked so fun! Its a winter warmies challenge. The challenge this week should be all about the way we keep warm during these cold days. From mittens and scarves to Hot Cocoa and more! There isn't one thing in our house that gets more use in the winter than my fireplace. I created this card to look just like my fireplace.  DIY tip.... Last year I painted some old black frames (just the frame no glass) and hung some ornaments in them. This is such an EASY Holiday decor that looks pretty.  You can use old ornaments of different sizes and paint and glitter them, add bows, ribbons, etc... It's a fun project,

OK back to the card, most of the images came from the Joys of the season cartridge and Jolly Holidays. All of it was designed on my gypsy for sizing purposes. The paper was all scraps (yay for me).  Just a fun little card....

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are having beautiful weather and enjoying your weekend! We just got home from our oldest boy's baseball game and got beat 8-2.  Bummer... but at least it was sunny and we had a great breeze blowing.  Perfect weather for a game :) Certainly not what you think of when you look at my card:) I really wanted to participate in some of the awesome challenges this week.  This is probably one of my very favorite color combos, it just makes me think of the Holiday's.
