I'ts time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's theme is Penguins. Penguin Awareness Day is Monday, January 21st. In Honor of this day, make a project and include a penguin. You've got to see all these adorable penguins by the Design team over at Die Cuttin Divas. Here is the card I made to share.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE that face!! I made this adorable penguin using my gypsy. You can view the original post HERE from last year to see how I made these. It's funny I created these penguins for a guest spot at DCD :)

Love you more than cupcakes

HI Everyone!

Hope your week is going well. I sure hope everyone is surviving your weather. Our weather has been a little eerie, still in the 80's this week and now wild fires are breaking out. Nothing too terribly close to our area and so far no homes destroyed as I write this so we just hope for everyone's safety. It's pretty odd that we are getting these temps in the winter when we rarely see 80's in the summer except last summer.

So I have another card I created using the New Peachy Keen Stamps January 2014 Release. I'm lovin it! I created this for my favorite challenges It’s A Peachy Linky Party!!!, The Kraft Journal - Color Challenge, i {heart} card sketches no.49, Cupcake inspirations - Photo

Beginning with some kraft paper, a scallop punch, and circle punch I stamped the cupcake image and colored it up...inspired by this Photo

Using paper from Basic Grey, this gorgeous color palette, and this great sketch... putting the card together was easy!

Isn't that teapot cute? Lovin this new set :) 

I paper pieced the teapot and added glossy accents to the hearts. I love a nice hot cup of tea on a cold night. Warms you right up ;)

Die Cuttin Diva's Out with the Old in with the New

Happy Tuesday!
I'm excited to share another project for the Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's theme is Out with the old, In With the New (Make something using something old and something new. If you didn't get any crafty goodness for Christmas, use something you haven't used in 6 months! Sounds FUN huh?

My little guy has been invited to a birthday next week so I thought I would take advantage of this fun theme and make a little tag for the Birthday boy's gift!

Can you tell what he's a fan of?? I started with the baseball cut from Sports Mania and Bat cut from Boys will be boys (both my something old) and my NEW is the Lil inker designs - STITCHED MATS: RECTANGLES

Here is what I created....

Starting with a VERY old cricut cartridge Christmas Solutions Cartridge I cut the Ice Skate with fabulous glitter paper. Stitched a square mat of snowflake paper added a jute bow topped with  button and a sequin. Super simple and quite sparkly :)

Happy New Year with a Shake..

Hope everyone is enjoying the New Year so far! I've been off work so I've been able to clean up, organize, and craft. Yay for me :)
Here is a tag I made for a few challenges.

It starts with a Peachy Snowman from July Release & my first ever shaker card. I totally winged it and I'm certain you can find awesome tutorials out there which I should have used but the end result is the same. I really LOVE these and have become a little obsessed I've made 7 different types.... :) 

I used my creative time Stitched Capture Frame Die for the base 

Added MS chunky glitter some and some "Sky" Trendy Twine. Stamped a cute little tag with  My Creative Time - Small-Talk-Stamp-Set and colored the adorable snowman with Copics.
