Die Cuttin" Diva's - Vegetables

Hi There!

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, it's a veggie challenge. There are so many cute veggie cuts and I just love when they have an adorable face on them :) I hope you will share in the fun with us this week:)

Today I created something a little different.

I created a label for a carrot cake. My hubby's favorite cake is carrot cake and I thought it would be great to have one of these handy. It's useful yet, cute :)

I cut this carrot from Cricut's Create a Critter and stamped a peachy face. I just simply attached the carrot to a decorative straw and tied it with Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine. Lastly, I added a flag label and printed it with "Carrot Cake"

Die Cuttin Diva's - Say it with LOVE!

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week is all about LOVE! February is a month filled with love, hearts, pink, red, chocolate & more chocolate :) So come join us at DCD and say it with love!

I have a card to share today using a really old cartridge from Cricut. Create a critter. Wow, I just LOVED that cartridge when I first got it and I looked it over when I made this card and thought I still really love it :)

So to start I found a cute "Love" cut on the CAC cartridge and cut it using my gypsy. Yes Gypsy... it still works :)

I'm currently remodeling my craft space. We recently had hardwood floors installed and lower cabinets installed but no counter top. I think we are going to DIY one but just can't decide. I tell you this is going to be a work in progress. For now, it's organized (in boxes) but at least I can find everything. So in all my cleaning and organizing and purging.... I found my edge distresser and thought I would use it. I distressed the edges and forgot how much I like that look :) I love when that happens.
I cut this out and boy it really needed something so I thought I would try and make a shaker out of the heart. Using my gypsy I welded a smaller heart to the large heart and cut it again. It worked perfect.

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the LOVE challenge! We would love to have you.

Hi Everyone!

It's FRIDAY!!! doing a happy dance :) I hope you are ready for the weekend and Fun Friday! This week at Little Scrap Pieces the challenge is to use a bug on your project.  Now I will admit I get confused about insects which are and which aren't. My son said that technically Bees are not bugs! They are however Flying insects - bugs, insects I'm sure they are all fine :) In any event, I created a card using the new PKS stamps - Oh man are they CUTE!!!

I really tied my entire card around that face stamp.  PKSC-16

I used the Create a Critter Cartridge for the bees and Hive.

Card - 5.25
Paper - My Minds Eye & Basic Grey Lucille

A pocket full of Sunshine

Hi Everyone!

Did you have a nice weekend? I hope you all are getting some warmer weather :) Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Peachy Keen Challenge 13-17 :: Sketch Challenge.  When I first saw this sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to make.  I used the circles as inspiration and used three images instead. The pocket, the sun, & the clouds. Here is what I came up with.
I used the PKSC-14 for the face on the sun (cac). The pocket is actually a card liner from the Wild Card Cartridge.

Card - A2
Paper - Scraps
