Trendy Twine - Happy Father's Day!

Hello!

The Trendy team is celebrating Father's Day and we have some great projects for you! I always give treats to the Father's in my life! My hubby loves his snacks. So this bag will be filled with all his favorite tiny treats :)

 This is such a fun little gift idea and so surprisingly easy. The hardest part was picking colors :)

I started with the APB Kraft bags and for the collar I just used a strip of card stock and wrapped it to look like a collar.

Next I cut the tie from an old cricut cartridge. I can't remember which one :(  but there are lots of tie die cuts available. You can even hand cut one.

Lastly, I just wrapped the top in Spiced pumpkin trendy twine and tied a tiny bow.

So easy and so FUN!

Trendy Twine - Patriotic Treat Box

Hi there,

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a fun project, we are spotlighting Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine. It is so yummy! I created a fun little treat box that would be cute for the 4th of July or even a treat for dear old Dad :) 

I used one of my favorite treat boxes the clear take out boxes in a gable style. I just LOVE these boxes and they lok great filled with anything but my favorite candy to use is big bright gumballs.

I covered the front and back of the box with a great big star that I die cut and filled the center with Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine. 

Lastly, I tied a very simple bow on top, I didn't want to make it too girly as I was thinking of a more masculine project.

Trendy Twine - Love

Hello Trendy Fans!

I'm over on the Trendy Blog, sharing a wedding shower card showcasing pink midnight twine and Pretty in Pink ribbon. I love the new ribbon that was released on Mother's Day, it's gorgeous and goes so perfectly with Pink Midnight.

A while back I found a really cool sketch and saved it for the perfect card. I also had the Echo park wedding bliss stack that I have been using it ALL month with this gorgeous twine!

I just pulled a few different pattern papers and followed the sketch. I die cut the word love in gold foil paper and placed it front and center right underneath that Pretty in Pink ribbon and pink midnight twine.

Look at how beautiful that ribbon and twine are!

Trendy Twine - Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

The Trendy Team is celebrating MOM! I LOVE Mother's day, I just thinks it's such a special Holiday to celebrate that special Mom in your life. I know it can also be a tough day as well for some, so I hope everyone can find a way to celebrate the day and enjoy the time with friends and family!

I had so much fun making a bunch of Mother's Day gifts this year! These bags from Annie's Paper Boutique are so awesome! I made a bunch of cookies and filled up these adorable bags with them :)

I started with a really large tag and cut it in black and white striped paper and paired it with pink which I thought goes so perfectly with this month's spotlight color Pink Midnight, it's so pretty!

Next I just die cut a few hearts and a flag label and just put the tag together. 

Then I lined the top of the bag with something NEW from APB INTRODUCING pretty in pink ribbon set

Look at how pretty the twine and ribbon are together! It's so gorgeous in person!

Trendy Twine - Thinking of you!

Hello Trendy Fans!

I'm over on the TT blog sharing a fun Mother's Day gift! This month we are spotlighting Pink Midnight Trendy Twine and Chocolate Boxes from Annie's Paper Boutique with an "All About Mom" theme.

Do you give the Mom in your life a similar gift every year? Sometimes I like to count on my gift every year... I love getting a big box of chocolate :) Can you believe that some Mom's don't like chocolate?? I'll never understand this - HAHAHA. Well, I made a gift for those who prefer something other than chocolate. I came across these cute bath salts. I picked up a few and thought these would make fun Mother's day gifts for my Aunt's. I covered the tops of each tin with pretty paper that coordinates with Pink Midnight Trendy Twine and packaged them up in the gorgeous Chocolate Boxes.

These tins couldn't have fit more perfectly, it's as if the boxes were made especially for them. Oh and there is a SNEAK PEEK of something fun coming later in the month :)

Lastly, I tied the Pink Midnight Trendy Twine around the box. I just love how this little gift turned out and I can't wait to make the rest!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Mother's Day

Welcome to another challenge day over at DCD,this week is a Mother's Day challenge. I have so many little gifts to package up so I'm always looking to make cute boxes and bags, it's my favorite thing to make! I made this cute little box for a special Mom, and I hope she likes what's inside :)

I started with a fantastic box from Annie's Paper Boutique and used my favorite color to decorate it.

I die cut these pretty roses from MCT, they are still my favorite roses ever!

I added a pretty gold embossed tag and stamped it with a sentiment from Scrappy Mom Stamps

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Sketch Challenge

Welcome to another challenge day over at DCD,this week is our monthly sketch challenge. We have a great selection of projects on the blog be sure to stop by for some inspiration.

I just love the bohemian look so that is the theme I went with.

I used a bohemian paper pad and thought it went with well with a feather die cut.

 

I followed the sketch and as you can see you can use any shapes or images.

I used some gold washi tape for accents and a gold metallic pen to add a little detail on the feather.
