Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party "Anything Goes"

Happy Monday!
Today is the Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly linky party and you could win fabulous prizes!! Welcome to our mid post for this weeks "Anything Goes" Challenge Linky Party. Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.
I recently pruchased a bunch of new goodies from Peachy Keen Stamps one of which was the new face stamps called kawaii face assortment pk1370 ohhhhh they are so CUTE! So I had to put them to work:)
I figured a sun is the perfect image for the new Craftin Desert Diva's Summer lovin Set

Summer Lovin'

I really wanted that sun and sentiment to stand out so I left this really clean and simple. So you see those yellow/orange dots.... I made them by melting perler beads in the oven.  I was on facebook one evening and Raven of love 4 stamps posted that she made some and so I wanted to try. Very easy and super CUTE!
Paper - Bazzill & American Crafts
Sun Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge

Don't forget... if you purchased a set from CDD, please make a project and enter the challenge or join the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery and show us your creation!
Have a WONDERFUL day!

Why did the chicken cross the road.....

Hi Everyone!

I've been super busy lately and just finally had the chance to play with some new fun crafty toys :) I fell in love with the new chicken stamps at Peachy keen stamps. They recently had a contest to suggest some chicken sayings and guess what... a couple of mine won. So they graciously sent the winners the sets that they made with our suggestions - how awesome is that!! Thank you Peachy keen stamps!! I didn't use the sentiments that I suggested on my card here but I have those projects coming soon!
Can you see why I fell in love with these little chickens :) I started with the new sketch challenge over at PKS.

Apple of my eye - Craftin Desert Divas "Punny"

For the Die Cuttin Diva Umbrella challenge please go HERE
Hi everyone,

I'm sharing a card over at Craftin Desert Divas. Please pop over and check out the new stamps.

I just loved the 3 stamp sets in the new release, they are so fun!  For this card I used the new Punny stamp set.
I wanted to show that you can use the Punny stamp set and make a more traditional card. I know not every crafter uses face stamps and thought I would give you a different look and another option for this set.
Look at the clean crisp look of these stamps.

I used an apple from the Cricut Cartridge Plantin Schoolbook
