Trendy Twine - It's all about the Candy!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing some Halloween Treats showcasing some spotlight products this month. I found some fun Halloween themed bubbles and wanted to give them out as gifts for the younger kids in the neighborhood.

 These bubbles fit perfectly in the  Large Treat Sack filled with candy. I lined the bags with Halloween themed paper to make them a bit more sturdy for the bubbles and candy.

I added some gorgeous Orange Licorice trendy twine

And lastly I stamped the die cut tags with sentiments from Happy Halloween Stamp Set

Trendy Twine - Choose Happy Stamp Release

Hi There!

I have a fun filled post for you today. Over on the Trendy Blog we are introducing a new stamp set, I just love release days we have an awesome release filled with fabulous inspiration from the DT. This set is sure to put a smile on your face :)

Welcome to our Choose Happy Stamp Release! 

The set has so many fun and cheery sentiments! I chose the sentiments with a sunshine theme as we are still having bright & sunny days in the beginning of Fall. 

I used a fun Yellow Glassine Bag - 5-3/4" x 7-1/2" Lined Gourmet Bag and filled it with a jumbo cookie. I simply decorated the bag with Blue-berry-trendy-twine and a fun shaker tag filled with Lemon-shaker-medley that is stamped with a sentiment from the NEW Choose Happy Stamp Set

Oh my gosh, the sequins from this pack are so perfect for this set :)

I also made a tiny note card with another sentiment from the New set. I added a little bit of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine & Lemon-tart-sequins

Trendy Twine - Love Day

Hi There!

I'm over on the Trendy blog with a Valentine card using some gorgeous Totally Raspberry . I always make a few cards for Valentine's day and usually they are for my boys so I try to not use a ton of pink & red.

Although, I did use a great big pink heart with some Totally Raspberry :) HAHA! 

Oh my gosh, Totally Raspberry is such a pretty pink I just couldn't resist.

I die cut a pink heart and then I die cut a smaller heart in the center and just lined the small heart with twine. 

For the sentiment I used two stamp sets Documenting-the-Everyday-Stamp-Set & Smile-Stamp-Set and simply stamped the sentiment off center.

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Snowflakes or Snowman

Hi There!

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have a very appropriate challenge for many parts of the U.S. Come and show us your Snowflakes or Snowman projects. Now we don't get snow where I live but the temps have dipped into the 30's (well 39) which is SUPER cold for us beach wimps :) and we've had so much rain but we LOVE that it's raining we have been in a severe drought so bring it on!! Okay back to the challenge.... share your Snowflakes or Snowman projects at DCD just be sure to use a die cut.

Here is a tag I made using lots of dies.

I started with a flag banner die for the tag itself and added some stitched square die cuts. I used some fun enamel accents to create snow, and sentiment from APB Let-It-Snow-Stamp-Set

I used the MCT build a snowman set for my cute snowman and added a peachy face. Lastly, I added some pretty aqua sheer ribbon.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Thanks snow much

Hi There!

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have a great sketch for you. I love to play with a sketch especially when I can't find any inspiration... yes it does happen, usually at this time too. Right after all the Holiday fun. After looking at the sketch for a bit I could see exactly what I wanted.

The mat itself is die cut with a rectangle stitched die. I decided to flip the sketch...

Next, I added a snowflake die cut and some washi tape. The fianl touch is a cute sentiment from APB Let-It-Snow-Stamp-Set.

Trendy Twine - Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you!

I sure hope you are all enjoying the beautiful day spending time with friends and family. The Trendy team has some Christmas wishes for you today.

I made some Christmas cards using the Let It Snow Stamp Set. 

I used a die cut cocoa mug and added some really fun texture using a snow pen my buddy Sherrie sent me. I love it Sherrie, Thank you! For this card I added some Holly Berry Trendy Twine

I die cut some hearts and stamped them with the Warm wishes sentiment and for this card I added some Totally Sky Trendy Twine 

I just love how the snow pen looks, such a great addition :)

Birthday Celebration for Janice

Hi There!

We have another fun surprise from the Trendy Twine Team and friends! Today is Janice's Birthday! That's Lesley's mom :) what better way to send birthday wishes than to have a little blog hop/post :) I hope you have an extra special day Janice!

I made Janice a card with lots of TT & APB Goodies. I used some of my special paper (you know that paper you save forever) Well this was the perfect occasion to use it :) 

I paired the paper with a die cut balloon and some Cranberry Trendy Twine.  I gave the twine a little twist by simply coating the twine in clear glue and letting it dry around a pencil, paint brush, or anything that is a thin cylinder. I stamped Happy Birthday from the APB smile set and added some GORGEOUS sequins called Christmas Shaker Medley .

Janice, I sure hope all the cards put a smile on your face and you enjoy your special day!

Trendy Twine - Have a Wonderful Day!

Hi There!

Today is a VERY special day.... Surprise Lesley, Happy Birthday to you! The design team wanted to celebrate your special day in a special way :) So each of us have a post for you. Thank you for being such a fabulous bloggy boss :) You are so much fun to work with! I sure hope you have a GREAT day!

I know how much you love Kitty:) I just couldn't decide between Hello Kitty and Minnie :) In the end Kitty won. I found an awesome chipboard selection of super cute Hello Kitty's and this one was my favorite.

I simply die cut some rectangles and popped them up for dimension.  I adhered Hello Kitty and added some Totally Red Trendy Twine under the balloon. I used a sentiment from the Smile set. 

I sent Lesley a fun little gift hopefully it makes her smile/laugh. I wrapped the gift with more Totally Red Trendy Twine and added a little tag.

Trendy Twine - Give Thanks

Good Morning!

I'm over on the Trendy blog sharing a Fall themed Thank you treat using this months spotlight products Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine & Orange Mini Open End Envelopes. I just love to make treats and thought these little envelopes would be perfect to hold a sweet treat.

I started with decorating these cute Orange Mini Open End Envelopes with some fun paper and some die cut leaves. The Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine matched perfectly with this paper.... I really had to search for just the right color but I finally found some and I just love how it turned out. 

Here's a close up of the Thanksgiving stamp and the twine - so pretty!

I filled my envelopes with a mini size candy car and I wrapped the bar with coordinating paper and tied each one with more Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine.

These little envelopes fit a variety of fun things like a small note, tag, gift card and a mini or full size candy bar too.
