Craftin Desert Diva's - For your Piggy Bank

Hi CDD Fans!

It's my day to share a card over at Craftin Desert Divas. I'm showcasing one of the newest stamp sets "Just Pigcause" Oh is this the cutest set ever? I have showcased a few sentiments and images from this set HERE & HERE if you would like to see some more inspiration.

Today I'm sharing the sentiment "For your Piggy bank" I thought I would make a little card to go with my son's piggy bank.

I really wanted to make a pig using no pink! Besides pink would just not go with this sports themed piggy bank :) 

I cut this little cutie using the Cricut Playtime cartridge. I just hid all the layers except the ears and I stamped a cute peachy face instead.

The sentiment is from the "Just Pigcause" set and will be back in stock very soon. trust me, it's worth the wait. I added some silver dots that I thought would like like coins :)

I used a bunch of goodies on this card :) The paper is scraps from last year - YAY for me! My scrap files are way out of control. I really wanted to use the CDD Sentiment Pint Sized Patriot from the Celebrate Freedom Stamp set. So I actually recycled this little girl from an old card that I made but never used :)

Soccer Centerpiece PKS Challenge

Hi Everyone!

How was your weekend? I'm getting ready for a week of work and so that means no craft time :( I quickly finished my project for the PKS - 3-D Objects :: Fall Sports. My son plays on two soccer teams but one of our teams is nearing the playoffs so the end of year party is just around the corner. I thought it would be a fun idea to make some centerpieces. I really kept it simple as I will probably add the kids names and numbers. I just didn't have time and really wanted to enter the challenge :)

I started with a frappuccino bottle

I altered this little guy from the Playtime cartridge and added PK-451-wide-eyed-kids

Hi Everyone!

How is everyone? For those of us with school age kids are you all getting back in the swing of school? We just dove right in and this morning it seemed like we've been in school for 3 months:) Did my laundry, had my coffee, went for my walk & workout, ran some errands, played with some new toys :) Ahhhh Life is GOOD!
I made a couple cards for the Peachy Challenge - Anything Goes and the September 2013 Challenge #2 - Face & Die Cut. and a few other of my favorites!!

Hi Everyone!
I sure hope all is good! We had a three day weekend and we enjoyed every second of it! We had a sleepover - FUN! Can you believe they were all asleep by 10:30. Two of them feel asleep at 9:00. Awesome!! But guess what - ALL up at 5:00am (oh boy - have I ever mentioned I'm not a morning girl) Well we were outside by 6:30am and I'm sure the neighbors were quite pleased with me!!
I have a sweet Fall card to share. You know how much I LOVE my peachies so I created a little Fall girl and her pick of the patch! I sure hope you enjoy and have a GREAT day!

Hope all is well with you! Today was such a nice day, took a nice walk, the sun was out and so were the dolphins... they were playing in the water today, such a beautiful sight, and I had a little time to craft :)
