Spooky.....Cute

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a SUPER quick card for a few challenges. Boy, I was just waiting to catch up on a bunch of things and GUESS WHAT? My little sis went into labor today. So We are headed down south for a couple days to meet our new niece. This is her second little girl - I LOVE BEING an Auntie!
Here is my spooky but kind of cute card - maybe cute - just a little??? Ok it's my last spooky card - I know how much my little boy doesn't want anything cute but now I'm over the spooky:) This is my last one!
The design is from the sketch over at retrosketches.
I created this skull head in my gypsy using the Indie Art Cartridge & Plantin Cartridge. I just welded a scallop shape (that I stretched) to the bottom of the skull.

Hi Everyone!
Whew...what a week! Work, Work, Work... I guess it's a good thing right? My last day is Tuesday and then I have two days off. ohhh I so need it :) Today I had a couple hours to play catch up before our family dinner and I decided to sneak off to my craft room and get my hands dirty. You'll understand once you see my card.
I hope you have a fantastic week and I will be by to visit very soon to see what all my VERY creative friends have been up to :)

I started with a blue background and distressed the paper. I chalked it and inked it until my fingers were black & blue :) I just hand cut the stone hill and embossed it with a Tim Holtz Brick Embossing Folder and added more ink & Chalk

Treat Holder for Halloween

Hi Everyone!
Guess what? We actually had a little rain yesterday, and last night I felt crisp cool air YEAH!!! It's here, Fall has arrived but I think it's only here for a few days because Monday it's going to be back in the 80's.
I am sharing a spooky little treat holder that we (my eight year old & I) made completely designed by him.  He picked the cut, the paper, and even glued on the webs. If you caught my other posts - he really wants a "Spooky" Halloween and nothing CUTE :(
He is invited to a costume party and we thought it would be fun to bring some treats. He likes it but thinks the button and twine make it look cute - of course!
Hope you ALL have a wonderful weekend!

The spooky fence is from the Cricut Cartridge Happy Haunting. The paper is GCD Studios. The die cut (MCT) is supposed to resemble a moon.

This holder will fit three candies but as you can see we ate two before we took the side photo - HAHA Ooops.
Holder details can be found at original post HERE

Welcome Sweet Baby

Hi Everyone!
What a day we had yesterday. We had the honor of watching the Space Shuttle land at LAX. What a momentous event. It was really spectacular, I have lots of pics but can't find my cord to get them off my phone :( I'll look this evening.
So I saw some fun challenges and thought I would play along. Paper Playtime is having a "Use your punches & add a sentiment & Die Cuttin Divas - Create a project using an elephant. I'm not quite sure why, but I never have a baby card on hand when I need it.  So perfect opportunity to place one in the card drawer :)
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

This little elephant is from the Cricut Cartridge New Arrival

The peachy face is a combo of Stamps - PK-754 Critter Faces SET A Medium (eyes) & PK-460 Happy Lashes Face Assortment (Mouth) I added the extra detail to the nose and eyes.

I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the bottom of the card and added the yellow polka dot paper on the inside.
Card - 4.25" x 5.5"
Paper - Recollections & Bazzill
