Red, White & Blue Centerpiece

Hi Everyone!
Have I gone too far??? Someone needs to take the burlap from me before I wallpaper my house with it :) I LOVE it!
So I set out to create some tags for the 4th of July BBQ and Beach party we have every year. I just wanted some simple tags to decorate some gift bags for the kids. Well I saw these glass containers sitting in my cabinet and thought of my burlap obsession and well my tags got attached to these and now they are the centerpieces for the 4th table. I'll just have to make more tags. Hope you like my fun centerpieces, I plan to fill them with licorice and popcorn YUM! I have a great idea for summer centerpieces using the same vases...stay tuned :)

Hi Everyone!
Enjoying your week? It's the last week of school for us so we've been doing lots of end of year parties and yesterday the entire 2nd grade walked over to our local nature park and had lunch and an ecology hunt. It was a ton of FUN! 
So I did manage to put together a Fathers Day card for my Dad. It only took 5 days (hee hee) Every time I stepped foot in my Craft room last week and this week I heard....Mom I can't find...., Mom I spilled...., Mom I'm hungry..., I'm sure most of you can relate :) Well here is my card.

Happy Mother's Day

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend! I wanted to post a Mother's Day card I made this week. I have one more Mother's day project to post and I think I'm actually ready for the day. That never happens I'm always making a last minute "something" on the day :) 
So I mentioned that I purchased a few packs of My minds eye paper. The pack I used for my project is called rosy...LOVE IT! I loved it so much that I wanted the paper to be the center. The background paper is 7 gypsies and pairs so well with MME. I inked the "note" paper with Tim Holtz ink and distressed the edges.

I cut the flower using the Cricut Cartridge - Sweet Treats

The leaves were cut and ran through the cuttlebug using distressed stiped.

Hope everyone is well! Let me just say I promise this card looks so much better in person.  I just couldn't get the lighting right, oh well. So, I really wanted to create a card with a clock. I looked and looked through my handbooks and just couldn't find on that suited me. So I decided to use clipart.  I just printed this clock on kraft paper and then cut it out with a circle punch. Hope you like it!

Today I’m sharing my very first easel card.  I saw the Easel Card challenge over at Paper Playtime and I have really wanted to make one and I finally did. I really like the way it turned out and I’m actually  going to use it as a decoration for Thanksgiving. Here are some note cards that I made for my little one's lunch bag next year.  Bitten by the bug 2 is having a "Locker Talk" challenge. The challenge is to create a GREAT Back-to-School project using any cut from the Locker Talk cartridge. If you don't have this cart, they still want to see what you can come up with using any other cartridge out there !  Also, My Sheri Crafts is having a Back to School challenge.  Be sure to head over and check out the fun at both blogs!!  So I used Simply charmed for the pencil.  I love how it turned out, hope you do too!

Party Bags!

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to share some party bags I made for my son's friend's birthday. His mom wanted something that went along with the theme. He had a game truck birthday, it was pretty cool. This huge trailer truck parks in front of your home and it is filled with flat screen TV's and every gaming system imaginable, hence the game controller for the party bag.  The kids had a blast!! I am entering this in Celebrate the Occasion challenge Kids Birthday & My Sheri Crafts - Party Decor.  Hope you come and join the fun!
