Puppy Love! Scrappy Mom Stamps "Sweethearts" Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Today has been a great day so far.  Spent the morning with my hunny, we tried a new restaurant. One from Diner, Drive-ins, and dives.  (We love guy)  It was so yummy!

Scrappy Mom Stamps is having their Terrific Tuesday Challenge. This time they want us to use Sweethearts. If you don't own this cartridge you can use a similar cut.  I used Doodlecharms.  I welded two cuts of the puppy at 4 inches and used my gypsy to find the right spot for the heart over his eye.  I then cut a heart from the George cartridge and cut a hole in it for the eye.  I cut a scalloped square using Storybook, placed the puppy on it and the puppy face lifts up and you can write the sentiment inside.

Happy Birthday to the Cat's Meow

Hi Everyone,

Robyn at My Pink Stamper is having a Birthday.  She is giving a challenge to create something with a birthday theme.  I have a card that I think suits her very well. I used my cuttlebug for the background, some paper from my collection, and the paisley cartridge for the kitty.  The sentiment is printed from my computer.

Gift Card Holder

Hi Everyone!

First, I must thank Cooking with Cricut for the amazing honor. Their amazing design team chose my ladybug card (below) as a top 3 pick for the Glitermania challenge.  I was head over heels! Thank you so very much!

So on to today, More than Favors is having a challenge.  If you haven't been by her site, it's a must see.  She does some amazing things!  The challenge this week was to create giftcard holders. I created a gift card holder out of a purse.  I used the paisley cartridge and gypsy.  I just welded two shaped at the top.  I added ribbon and a great little green button. On the inside I used a ribbon and positioned it just right so it is real tight to hold the card. I LOVE this paper.  It is very old and I don't think the company is in business any longer.  It is called imagination project

Paper Playtime Challenge #34 "Love"

Good Morning!
Paper Playtime is having a challenge.  For this week’s challenge you need to use the word “Love” on your paper project.
I created a shaped card out of the word Love.  I just love the way it came out!  I used my Gypsy to create the card.  I used the Lyrical Letters cartridge for the letters and gypsy wanderings for the heart.  I dry embossed the letter “E” with the cuttlebug and used glitter on the letter “V”.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!

Hi there!

Today is a perfect day for an ice cream.  According to my family any day is a good day for ice cream.  Here is a card with lots of pizzazz.  The ice cream cone is cut from the sweet treats cartridge and I used brown glitter glue on the top scoop and glossy accent on the cone. The ribbon is from Micheals, and the sentiment is from my collection of fonts on my computer.

Little Miss Ladybug

Good Morning everyone!

What a beautiful morning it is here, the sun is shining and it's actually warm outside. I created a card and I am going to enter into two challenges.  The first one is my ladybug card. Cooking with Cricut is having a challenge called "Glittermania" (What a great name) They want us to GLITZ IT UP! Don’t hold back on the bling…bling it on!

Then I came across the Cricut Cardz Challenge #57? (I'm new to the blogging world, so I haven't found ALL of the challenge blogs yet)!    Their challenge for this week is to make a card using any cartridges or theme you'd like, BUT using the colors red, black and white ONLY!  Well my card fit right in so here is what I have.  The lady bug is from the create A critter and the sentiment was printed on my computer.  The ribbon is from Micheals and the bling is Red and white stickles.  The paper is Recollections.

Scrappy Moms 1st Ever Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Birthday Bash!

Scrappy Moms Stamps is having a challenge.  The challenge is to use the Birthday Bash Cartridge, or if you don't have Birthday Bash you can use a similar cut from a different cartridge.  Well I don't have it, wish I did....  Here is what I created to enter.
The Cupcake is from the SweetTreats cartridge. I used a shadow around the cupcake that I made smaller using Gypsy.  I really like when the shadow is slightly larger than the image. Sometimes they look too large.  I couldn't find a cute stamp so I just printed this on my computer, and last but certainly not least I used stickles for the heart and cupcake frosting.
As always, thank you for looking!

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday challenge

My Creative Time is having a Throwback Thursday challenge.  This is my very first time participating in a challenge, and I am so excited to be entering!  The rules are you can choose any older cartridge you would like to use! Also, it can be any project you would like to make just as long as it has a heart somewhere on it!
So I used the "New Arrival" Cartridge for the truck and "Doodlecharms" for the heart and welded them together with the gypsy. I used "Wild card" for the Be my valentine.

Thank you for looking and I am just having a blast in this new paper crafting world!

Cute Owl Card

Look at this adorable Owl card.  It measures A2 size and I used create a critter for the owl.  The chocolate scallop rectangle is cardstock from Poptone and the printed paper is from gcd studios.  The blue paper is from my scrap pile. Another easy put together.

My Very First Post

I am so excited to begin sharing my creativity with you. I created a Valentine's Day card using my gypsy and my cricut. Believe it or not, this was created while I was making dinner. Love the Gypsy! The paper is really old and I'm not sure of the name. I used create a critter and gypsy wanderings. The card measures 5x7 (It's a big one) It was a quick one but I think it turned out ok.
