Die Cuttin' Diva's - Birthday

Hello,

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD. This week is a fun one, it's all about Birthdays! I just love to make Birthday cards and tags, it is the one item I can't seem to have enough. I go through many birthday tags as I use lots of gift bags for gift giving and I love to have a pretty tag for the outside.

I used some acetate for this tag.

It was really hard to photograph :( I made it very simple with a sentiment and a die cut balloon.

I used two types of Trendy twine the spotlight color Totally Black Trendy Twine Solid Black and Black Licorice

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Sunglasses

Hello,

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD. This week it's all about sunglasses! I've been wearing mine non stop, we're having a bit of a heat wave here by the beach :) That's okay I love my shades!

I made a really simple card with some pretty pink sunglasses.

I started by cutting my pattern paper with an edge die by MCT. I then cut a pair of sunglasses using my cricut.

I used a sentiment from Craftin Desert Diva's and shaped it to fit the curve of the paper.

Very simple and fun.  Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the challenge! We would love to have you.

Trendy Twine - Happy Father's Day

Hello!

The Trendy team would like to celebrate all the Dad's today, we are sharing some Father's day projects over on the blog. My Dad is a golfer and a foodie so we sent him a great big basket of all his favorite Italian foods and some golf balls :)  Here is an idea for a homemade gift to give for the golf fan in your life.
If you have a golfer in your life then you know they go through a lot of golf balls. The golf balls usually come in boxes, so you can just open the box and put some of the balls in a much cuter container :)

In this case, I used a mason jar, but you can use any clear container that will fit the golf balls. I tied up the jar with some ribbon and one of my favorite colors In the Navy. This is the PERFECT blue!

I created a cute little golf ball tag using a circle die cut and a dry embossing folder. I added a banner die cut with Happy Father's Day and for a final touch I tied in a tee.

I hope you have a moment to stop by the blog and see all the Father's Day fun!

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Father's Day

Hello,

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD. This week we're celebrating Father's Day early :) If you are creating Father's day cards, come share with us. I created a VERY clean and simple card using some basics.

One of my favorite patterns is wood grain and I think this print is on the masculine side. I die cut it using a stitched rectangular die.

I simply die cut "Happy" and then stamped father's day below it. So simple and you could make tons of these in no time at all.

Trendy Twine - Thank you for Bean part of our day

Hello!

I'm over on the Trendy Blog  sharing a super fun wedding favor showcasing Totally Black Trendy Twine Need Coffee Planner StampsSummer is upon us and that means lots of weddings. So I thought I would share a fun wedding favor idea for the coffee loving couple.
I started with a fun tin from Annie Boutique  and filled it with flavored coffee beans. Oh my gosh, my room smelled delicious!

Next I just very simply printed a sentiment and stamped a cute cup of coffee using the Need Coffee Planner Stamps, I cut out the sentiment and embellished the corners with a bit of  Totally Black Trendy Twine.

Lastly, I made a band from kraft card stock and tied it with more Totally Black Trendy Twine. A very simple but still cute favor to give your guests!

Totally Black Trendy Twine is on sale the month of June, be sure to pop over and grab some.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Anything Goes

Happy Thursday!

Gosh, I'm so sorry for being late posting my Die Cuttin Diva challenge card, life sometimes throws you for a loop :(

This week we have an anything goes challenge. So come on over and show us your stuff.... WITH die cuts of course.
I just purchased a cupcake die and wanted to create a card with it. I also wanted to use some washi.
A while back I purchased so much washi tape and I really love it and try to use it when I can :) I used some coordinating washi and paired it with some pattern paper.
I received MCT new stamps just in time and used this great sentiment. After the card was complete I thought it needed just a little something so I used some Tim Holtz distress paint and splattered it on the white space. I guess I should have done that part first but oh well :)
