Merry Christmas from Trendy Twine!

Merry Christmas to you!

The design team over at Trendy Twine wanted to wish you a VERY Merry Christmas! I thank you for visiting us all year and sharing your sweet comments. I adore the Trendy products and I'm so grateful to be on a team with some FABULOUS ladies and the biggest thank you to Lesley who runs our team and is so generous and AWESOME! I thank YOU!

I wish I could make a card for everyone in bloggy land but reality is I had my Christmas cards printed and I still sent them out late :(
So this is my card for all of you!
I mentioned recently I bought an Explore and have only made 2 projects but I really like it!
I was able to to cut a font from my computer! I love that because I love fonts!! My buddy Kimberly totally inspired this card, she is so creative and I loved one of her Merry cards so I tried it out :)
I used a great die cut star and tied a little bow with Totally Natural Trendy Twine that I colored with a copic marker. I topped it off with a pretty rhinestone that I also colored with my copic marker. I printed Christmas on a wood grain piece of cardstock and added the "Merry" that I cut and that completed my Christmas card for all of you!

I hope you ALL enjoy a BEAUTIFUL Christmas with your friends and family! Thank you for another fabulous year of crafting and inspiration!

Snow one else like you

Hi There!
This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a sweet card using the Snowman Kisses set. This is my first project using my new explore. I was really excited to cut an SVG, pretty easy and it cuts like a dream!

I used a Too Cute by Jessica file called Snow family... isn't it sweet, look at that snow baby :)
I used some festive paper and stamped two sweet peachy faces. I machine stitched the mats and added plenty of sparkle!

I used the "Snow-one like you" sentiment and my card is complete :)
I hope you all had a chance to see the new release and visit the DT, all the stamps are in the shop now and can be viewed under the NEW RELEASE tab.

Thank you for visiting, have a wonderful day!

Deerest Santa

Hello!
Wow, can you believe how fast this month is going! Can you believe how fast this year went! What a fun year it was... Boy when I look back I always think, we sure packed a lot in one year :) I'm thankful for that!!
I wanted to share another tag that will come in handy for my gifts this year. This one was inspired by the Craftin Desert Divas set Holly Day Punnies.

I love this set for fun projects! It's great for kids...they LOVE puns!
I started with a tag die and cut this adorable the deer. I made a tag and stamped just the "Deerest Santa" only. I thought just that part of the sentiment was cute for a tag. I tied my tag with Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine  and it's going to be so CUTE on one of my nieces Christmas present :)

Have a SUPER day and I'll see ya back here VERY soon!

Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas Day 10

Good Morning everyone, and welcome to Day 10 of our Trendy Twine 12 Days of Christmas. I just have to say what a FABULOUS 9 days so far, I'm a little sad there are only 2 days left after mine :(
So for my gift giving inspiration I created a snowman candle holder. Can I just tell you that this was so much fun to make! Here's my snowman all lit up.
I purchased some dollar store round candle holders and painted them with mod podge. Next I placed both jars in a large bowl and began putting handfuls of epsom salt all over the jars. I let them dry and added buttons and a Trendy Twine scarf using Frosted Cranberry. But this is a gift so I had to package it just perfectly :)
The best way to give a gift is with some candy right? I filled the top with some fun candies!

I used TT's Cone Bags and more Frosted Cranberry. to package up some yummy chocolates.

This is such a fun and inexpensive gift to give and you could add another holder on top or even a fun little face too!

Stop by the store and grab these items and you can make some too :)

Die Cuttin Divas - Non-Traditional Christmas Colors ~ No Red or Green

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge. We have a fun one for you this week. It's a Christmas challenge but you can not use any red or green, and of course don't forget the die cut :) I just LOVE using colors that you would never think to use. One year I even decorated my tree with purple, green and turquoise :) Well I didn't choose any of those colors to create my tags but I do love the colors I chose.

I used the tag die from My creative time and die cut some watercolor paper.
I used my new watercolors to create the backgrounds and added some glitter dots.

I also die cut an adorable snowman from MCT and added LOTS of glitter. I stamped a CDD sentiment from one of the newest set Snowman kisses and topped of these tags with some FUN Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine.

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the DT and join us for the challenge! We would love to have you.

Die Cuttin Divas - Sketch challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge. This week we are all following a sketch. I just LOVE a good sketch, sure takes the guess work out of it :) and our sponsor gave us some fun digis to use.

I started by using the sketch exactly how it was and instantly saw a layout.  The digi I chose ended up being perfect for the center. I used the Digi Blessings snow signs

I was going to hang the snowman over one of the photos but then I found a cute sign on the cricut Walk in the garden cartridge and used that for the Merry Christmas from  CDD - Happy Celebrations stamp set. I can't wait to put some little photo's on this :)

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the DT and join us for the challenge! We would love to have you.

Almost everyone loves a peppermint candy, so they make a great treat!

I wrapped this FUN tin in candy cane striped paper with a little blue cardstock to match the Frosted Cranberry twine. Topped off the tin with a great big sparkly candy cane.

Lastly, I tied a sweet bow with Frosted Cranberry twine and added a fun label and pretty CDD sentiment.
