Everyday is an Occasion Blogiversary Hop!!!

Hi everyone!

Welcome and thanks for joining us today for an extra fabby time :) today are celebrating the Super duper sweet Jill's (Everyday is an Occasion) blogiversary! One year of fabulous projects, tips, & ideas! Thanks Jill for hosting and inviting me once again :)

We are celebrating with a fun hop and giving you lots of birthday inspiration :) I have fallen in love with all the fun little bags to hold small treats, glassine, chevron, polka dots, etc.... I thought I would create my own out of paper I have on hand. Yes, no new products were purchased for these fun bags:) when I first started collecting paper ( I just say that I'm a collector, sounds better than hoarder, paper obsessed, maniac, etc....) I would buy these fun packs that were not card stock weight. That's all I used. Then all the paper companies started coming out with card stock paper and I was hooked! So I have so much paper:) well all those packs of thinner paper is absolutely perfect for this project! Also great for envelopes too!

Here's what I have for you
I went with a Hawaiian theme and made goodie bags for a birthday party! I started with a 9x6 piece of paper. Scored it at 2" on each side of the 9" length side.. Which should leave you with a 5" bag. Just use some strong adhesive to seal the back and bottom. You can just seal the bottom or fold the bottom. I then simply cut the top with fun scissors.

Fill them up with some yummy candies, tie it with some twine and seal it with a fun decorative clothes pin:)

For the labels you can easily stamp a fun birthday sentiment or leave them blank so you can personalize them for your party guests!!!

All in all a pretty simple project that can be made by a beginner or an expert.

So now for the real fun!! Jill went to Summer CHA this year and gathered some goodies to giveaway to all of you. Please be sure to enter the rafflecopter below!

Okay, so now hop along and see what these fabulous ladies have for you, no doubt it's wonderful!!! Next up on the list is one of my SWEETEST bloggy friends and SUPER Talented

The Sky's the limit...

Hi Everyone!

How are you? I feel a little out of touch with my bloggy friends. We've been trying to pack our last weeks of summer with as much fun as we can:) We start back in 12 days!
I wanted to share a card I made for my Godson who is 13. I just couldn't send him my normal cutesy cards so I "matured" it up a bit :) What do ya think?
I used a DCWV High school stack & some scraps too :)

woof woof... bark bark...

Hi Everyone!

Wow, guess it's really been a whole week since I posted??? Where does the time go? So If you've been following me for a while then you know I participate just about every week in the Peachy keen Stamp challenge and most of the time an idea pops right into my head but Peachy.... you stumped me this week. The theme is create a 3D object (Okay easy enough) but with a pet theme.(Uh-oh) I belong to the SOTMC over at peachy and the new release was a pet theme you can see it HERE. So it did make it a little easier but I have been challenging myself to make projects that I will use or give to someone instead of piling up in my Craft room. So it was a little challenging!  So guess what, I remembered that not too long ago our neighbors got a new puppy - IDEA!!!! So to welcome that sweet little girl into the neighborhood here's what I came up with.

That adorable doggy is from the new Peachy release PKSC-20

I just used one of our dogs bones for the picture, I filled the gift with puppy treats:)

Hi Everyone!

How are you? I know some of you are heading back to school, we still have about three weeks. On one hand I dread it, but on the other I look forward to getting my "Me" time back :) We've really enjoyed our summer this year :)

We have a family friend that's starting Kindergarten - Such a fantastic time :) I miss those days with my boys.  I wanted to send her a little something so I made her a card and sent her some Hello kitty barrettes and headbands :) Hope she likes them.

I started by using the new Peachy Release stamps PKSC-20.  As always so ADORABLE!!!
The paper is all scraps but I think it's Basic Grey

Beach Buddy!

Hi Everyone!

I'm home! We had an absolute blast on our vacation! We spent the week all over Oregon with some of our dearest friends! We did it all... from downtown Portland to wine tasting, a water park, the coast, nature walks, and so much more.  Our families had such a wonderful time together and we didn't want to leave :(

Well, while I have the 3rd load of laundry in the machines:) I made a card for a few challenges.
Oh gosh, every time I see that face.... Oh so CUTE! I used the Peachy stamp of the month kit PKSC-18 and stamped it on a 3" circle cut from the George cartridge.
