Home Sweet Home!

Hi Everyone!

Thought I would share a card that I made a while ago for my Mom.  She sells real estate and I thought these cards were perfect to send her clients after they purchase a home.  I made one and had every intention of making a set... but you know how that goes. I saw the challenge over at CELEBRATE THE OCCASION - "New House" challenge. So I thought I would enter. The card is done using Create a critter. I put a little stickles on the flowers in the window and the sentiment is from my computer. I finished it off with the white gel pen, some ribbon, and a button. Hope you enjoy!

Thinking of You!

Hi Everyone!

Some of you know I have a love/dislike (I don't like the word hate) relationship with my Disney Cartirdge.  I just LOVE the images but sometimes they are a little tricky to cut. Well I had this Minnie cut out for sometime just waiting to be used. I'm not sure if I absolutely love the card but I do love Minnie! This card is a square 4.75", I used the Mickey and Friends cartridge and printed the sentiment from my computer.  I added black and white ribbon and stickles on her gloves. Finished it off with the white gel pen.  I found two challenges that I can enter this card in:
Challenges:
BITTEN BY THE BUG 2 - Disney Themed
CARD CREATIONS & MORE BY C - Use patterned ribbon

Spring Card and a bunch of challenges

Hi Everyone!

Wow It seems like everyone is ready for spring.  I know I am. Here is a card that I created for a bunch of challenges. It screams spring, and is pretty simple as usual. I used Gypsy wandering for the postage stamp shape and Create a Critter for the flower. The ribbon is from American crafts and it is placed over a scallop border trim cut with decorative edge scissors. White gel pen accents the two flowers.
Hope you enjoy!

SCRABOOKAHOLIC BY ABBY - Anything Spring
MY CRAFT SPOT - Tie a Bow

Manly Wishes - Wacky Wednesday Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Here is my entry for MORE THAN FAVORS - Wacky Wednesday Manly Challenge. So there is a bit of a story behind this card. I learned this technique so very long ago when my son's class made neck ties for all of their Dads. Although the ties were clown size and filled with leaves and twigs, I used the same technique smaller scale minus the leaves and twigs :)  I used the Wrap it up cartridge for the tie and the wild card cartridge for the pocket. For the collar I used a white piece of cardstock 1.25 x 6.5 and just folded the edges down to form a collar. I machine stitched the pocket and that's it. I left the front blank without a sentiment to keep the feel of a real shirt.
Hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday - Day 4 Masculine Card

Hi Everyone,

Here is Day 4 of Masculine Cards.  I think this one is my favorite, and as a HUGE bonus I'm so excited I can enter it in 2 challenges. I love it when it works out that way!  I just love banners!  I especially love the banners on Birthday Bash, but that cart. is on my (very long) wish list.  So I was looking through all of my carts and found something I could use on the sports mania cartridge.  I thinks it worked out great.  Again, this is a super simple card. The sentiment is printed from my computer. I am entering this in:

Happy Birthday Day 3 - Masculine Cards

Hi Everyone,

Here is my third masculine card for the week. I realized that masculine cards are better kept simple. So I used 2- 1.25" circles and 1-1.50" I wrapped the middle circle with twine and really like the look of that.  The sentiment is from my computer. This cards works great for the challenge over at
REALLY REASONABLE RIBBON  - One of the Boys theme.
Please check back tomorrow night I have another cute "manly" card to share.
Hope you enjoy!

Welcome to the world!

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all having a nice Thursday. I have a baby card to share today.  I found an adorable K&Co paper pack at Target on clearance for $2.48. I love finding deals when you least expect it! I used the New Arrival cartridge for the so so cute elephant.  I added some green ribbon I just found at Michaels, stamped the sentiment, and finished it off with some black pen stitching.  It's perfect for the challenge over at
CELEBRATE THE OCCASION - New arrival (new baby or puppy).
Hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday Robot Wishes - Masculine Card

Hi Everyone,

So my second masculine card is for my Godson. (I have 3 more coming) I thought I would make a robot since I've had this adorable robot paper just begging to be used. I used the Wrap it Up cartridge for the Robot and printed the sentiment on my computer. First up is a card for my Brother in Law. Super simple quilt pattern using the KI classic paper stack and the george cart for the star. Finished it off with some twine, white gel pen, and a sentiment from my computer.  I think it's masculine, but might have a Christmas feel??? Oh well, I think he'll like it.

Friends - More than Favors Wacky Wednesday Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Yay, I'm so happy or game time changed I am able to post this today I thought I would have to wait until Monday.  I really need to learn how to schedule my posts.  I made this card for a friends birthday on the 20th.  She lives in Oregon so I need to get it in the mail soon! Does anyone remember this paper?? It must be over 5 years old.  But it is still so cute and perfect for the Wacky Wednesday Challenge over at More than Favors - Color challenge using purple, green and yellow.
I started with the card base from the Wild Card Cartridge and also used the George cartridge for the flowers and circles. I added some ribbon, inked the flower and edges of the card and finished it off with a cute yellow brad and I think my girlfriend will love it!  On a side note, I have a lot of B-day's coming up in March and April mostly boys and men, so stay tuned for some "manly" cards.

Wanna hug a tree with me?

Hi Everyone!

Another beautiful day in Redondo Beach! I love days like this. I had a little time yesterday to create a card for two challenges. My mom just bought me a huge pack of KI memories paper, so many great prints. (Thanks Mom) As soon as I saw the first pages I knew I wanted to use the colors pink, green, & brown.  I used gypsy wanderings for the tree and a stamp I got from the dollar bin at Michaels. I added stickles, my trusty white gel pen, machine stitching, and some gingham ribbon. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Everyone!
