Patches of Pink Design Team Link UP Party

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to My Paper Love and the Patches of Pink Design Team Link UP Party! This month the theme is BABY!

I hope you will join us and create a project using the theme.
I created a card that I'm sure to use. I've seen these "Dresser" cards once or twice on the internet and always thought they looked too difficult but to my surprise it was quite easy. I had some help from my gypsy to size everything and line it all up.
For the bottom of the dresser I used a top note cut to make the it look like a piece of furniture. The top 3 drawers are approx 1" squares.

All of the cuts are from the Cricut Cartridge New Arrival
Card - Approx 5.5" x 4.25"
The handles are hole punched pieces of paper with glossy accent on them.
Paper - Making Memories(I've had it forever)

I really hope you come over to Patches of Pink and see all the FABULOUS DT projects and link up with us.

I'm entering this card in Shopping our stash - Starts with a "b" Challenge.

I heard it's your special day!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are enjoying your day! We finally have some sun, but not for long the rain is coming tomorrow:(
I'm sharing a card I made for a "Sea Monster" party. Actually that's what the 3 year old called it but his Mom says its a sea life party. Sounds like a fun party, she rented a touch tank from a local sea life museum and they bring all the creatures in a trailer for the kids to explore. Our Pre-school and Elementary schools do this here in our town but never knew you could rent them for a party. FUN FUN FUN!
I'm also entering my little "Sea Monster" card in a couple challenges:
Paper Playtime - Say it With Sentiments theme "Birthday Card"
Bitten by the bug 2 - Balloons and Birthday Card Challenge
Card - 4.75"
Cricut Cartridges - Wrap it Up(balloons), Life's a Party(Background) & Mini Monsters
Paper - Momenta & Recollections
Stamps PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment & MCT - Wow so many candles
Ink - MS

ENJOY YOUR DAY!

You make school COOL!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are enjoying your day so far!
I am working on projects for Teacher appreciation day. I have always given my boys teachers small gifts to show our appreciation for ALL their hard work. My youngest son says that his 2nd grade teacher makes school cool.  If you ask him about any subject  - "Do you like Science" his response, it's cool, he says his teacher makes it COOL! I think that's awesome, she is a GREAT teacher!
So the first item I'm sharing is a card for a couple of my favorite challenges:
My Craft Spot - Make it POP Use dimensionals
Peachy Keen Stamps - Anything Goes MUST use PKS
I think this little worm is my FAVORITE cut! I just love the PK face on him!

I layered him and popped him up HIGH :)

Peter Cottontail is on his way...

Hi Everyone!
I'm sharing another Easter card I designed in my Gypsy. I found a really cool cut on the wrap it up cartridge. It's the fence cut under the tag feature cut at 3.67 H x 3.61 W. I used it as a frame for my little cottontail. The Bunny is from just because cards cut at 5.61 H.
The eggs are from doodlecharms cut at 3.22 H. I popped up the fence with two thicknesses of foam tape so the bunny can sit behind the fence. Then I only used one thickness of foam tape for the bunny.

I'm entering this in a few challenges:
Fantabulous Cricut - #105 Egg-ceptional Easter Make a project with an egg on it.
Cardz TV - Make a card for any occasion using a frame from any cartridge and using any colors you’d like.
My Creative Time - Use any cartridge (preferrably an older one) & create ANY project of "YOUR" choice

I loved his fluffy tail coming through the fence:) & Emma's stamps were PERFECT for my little card.

Cricut Cartridges - Wrap it Up, doodlecharms, & Just Because Cards
Paper - k&Co, Recollections
Ribbon - Little Scrap Pieces
White Gel Pen – Sakura
Stamp - My Creative Time - Color me happy

Do Great in the small things...

Hi Everyone!
Boy am I excited!!! My sweet friend Karen over at Little Scrap Pieces has invited me to be a guest designer on her blog today.  As an extra bonus she let me choose the theme. So I chose a  sky blue theme.(Any soft shade of blue) Spring days bring such beautiful skies!
I have been really wanting to use this beautiful paper pad from my minds eye. I LOVE this cloud paper! I started with a scalloped card from the Wild Card Cartridge and I used Create a Critter for the rainbow but cut off the heart and added clouds also from CAC. I topped the card with Karen's AWESOME ribbon and stamped it with a wonderful sentiment. All the pattern paper is MME and the solid is recollections.

I hope you join us over at Little Scrap Pieces this week and show us you blue projects!

Thank you Karen for inviting me, I really appreciate it and had so much fun creating my rainbow card!

Friends stick together

Hi Everyone!
Our family sure had a tough week. Last Saturday we lost a very special man in our lives, my best friends father.  My BF and I have been friends since we were little girls. I've known the family for almost 30 years. He was so full of life and such a wonderful Dad. My family will miss him terribly but we are resting easy knowing he is with his wife (or as he called her his bride) now and no longer missing her.
SO with that, I have some catching up to do....Blog and home. I know I missed some awesome things over the week and I really have been wanting to say thank you to my sweet girls that gave me the Versatile Blogger award.
Jessica - Chick n Scrap

These girls are my daily inspiration and if you need a creative boost, click on the links and create away!
Jessica, Sherrie, Amy, THANK YOU so much I feel so honored that you recognized me :)

I started creating this card before last week and I finished it today. I really wanted to make something fun, springy & simple as I only had a little time. So here's my version of of a Peeps card.
The peeps were created using my gypsy and the doodlecharms cartridge. I  used the bunny face cut and a circle. I welded the circle to the bunny head and voila - PEEPS I hope you get the sentiment. Peeps are sticky..... get it :) You know something Peeps aren't very good, but my BF loves them and I bought her some and I'm giving her this card. I know she'll smile. We have a silly sense of humor.  I've been with her this last week just supporting and taking care of her. That's what friends do...they stick together!!!

Challenges:

Card - 4.25" x 5.5"
Cricut Cartridge - Doodlecharms
Ribbon - Little Scrap Pieces
Paper - Scraps
Ink - Martha Stewart
Glitter Glue
Sentiment - Printed
