Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday DT Post

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and good times spent with those you love. We had a wonderful Christmas, our family is such a blessing:)

Well it's Friday again and that sure makes me smile....It's Fun Friday over at Little Scrap Pieces and we have some great inspiration for you from the DT, aren't they fabulous! The theme this week is "Winter" so please pop over and join in the fun.

Here is a little ornament I created for some of the Aunties & Uncles in the family. In the picture you only see 3 however I made 15 of these. My family teased me and said where are the ornaments for my oldest son? I said...they don't take pictures in college :) haha!
I used the Lil Inker Instant camera die the school pics (2x3) fit perfectly!

I added a snowflake from the Gyspy wandering cartridge.
The sentiment is from My creative Time
Some perfect pearls & a rhinestone...easy peasy!

I thought I would add one more winter project. We had a Holiday party a couple weeks back and as the good hostess I tending to my guest and really didn't have the chance to take pictures :( I did create a Hot Cocoa bar for the kids that was an absolute hit! I managed to get some photos of the cute little cups I made.
I used a cup warmer from starbucks as a template and just ran kraft cardstock through the paper crimper. Added a gorgeous snowflake and the kids loved them....I even saw a few adults with them :)

Here is our bar all decked out for the party. I wish I had more pics :(

Holiday Money Holders

Hi Everyone!

How is everything going? Are you ready? Wow, I have NEVER been so behind in my life. I just wish I had one more week:)
Here are the money holders I made for some of the kids in the family! I really like them, super easy and fun!  Please stop by tomorrow for the LSP DT post! Lots of great inspiration!
I used two 5" squares and used a circle punch to cut out the center.

The scallop circles is from Accent Essentials and the holder at the top was cut from
Gypsy Wanderings Cartridge
The paper is an old American Crafts stack that I've had for a while.
I used a gold rubber metallic stretchy cord for the ring.

Many Thanks

Hi Everyone!
How are you? What's your weather like? Mine is raining! I'm loving it right now as I have the fireplace on and cozy socks and getting ready to bake. I ended up not having to work :) so that makes it even better! However, if I actually had to be out in it, I would probably feel different :)
So I though I would get a jump start on the thank you cards as I'm sure they will come in handy after the Holiday.
This adorable die cut is from My Creative Time. These dies have been sitting in the package and shame on me I forgot I had them.

Thanksgiving - Home Decor

Hi Everyone!

WOW oh WOW time is flying...... I have a home decor project to share today.  Do you have paper that seems too large for the background of cards? Do you love subway art? Well, my answer was yes to both so I created this super simple and fun HD project!
I simply cut the paper to fit the wood board and stitched all the way around.

I added some leaves using My Creative Time - Piles Of Smiles Stamps & Dies distressed the edges and threw a coat of Mod podge on it and there you have a very SIMPLE & EASY Home decor item for your table of wall.

Cutest Pumpkin....

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing okay and I sure hope all our friends near or in the path of Hurricane Sandy stay safe and we are sending well wishes!
Did you all see the challenge over at My Creative Time well I jumped at the opportunity to join this challenge. Not that I wouldn't have joined it anyway - I'm a bit addicted to her stamps and dies! You all know that I just had a new niece and she is just the cutest little thing, and as round as a pumpkin! So I think this tag is so perfect for the outside of the Halloween gift for our little Angel.
I started with one of Emma's dies - Maybe not exactly one you would think to use for a pumpkin.

I used the round ornament from the August release. Warm-Holiday-Fun-Stamp-Set

I also used the ornament holder from the die set for the vines on the pumpkin to give it a fairy tale look :)

Tag - Approx - 4" x 6"

Paper - recollections & DCWV
Sentiment - MCT Piles-Of-Smiles
