Trendy Twine - Winter Wishes

Hi There!

I sure hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and was able to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. I'm over on the Trendy blog sharing a fun winter gift using our spotlight color Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine. 

Have you used a APB kraft box? These boxes are so awesome the are so sturdy and easy to assemble. I used a 3x3x3 Kraft-Box and covered it with some fun winter paper.

I used this cute box to wrap a pretty little homemade ornament.

I added a fun winter wishes die cut and tied the box with Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine. 

Such a simple but fun gift.

Trendy Twine - Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you!

I sure hope you are all enjoying the beautiful day spending time with friends and family. The Trendy team has some Christmas wishes for you today.

I made some Christmas cards using the Let It Snow Stamp Set. 

I used a die cut cocoa mug and added some really fun texture using a snow pen my buddy Sherrie sent me. I love it Sherrie, Thank you! For this card I added some Holly Berry Trendy Twine

I die cut some hearts and stamped them with the Warm wishes sentiment and for this card I added some Totally Sky Trendy Twine 

I just love how the snow pen looks, such a great addition :)

Trendy Twine - Merry & Bright

Good Morning!

I'm over on the Trendy blog with a fun little gift wrapping idea using our spotlight items APB Cotton Muslin Bag & Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine. It seems like I have the hardest time finding cute ideas to package up small gifts for Christmas. I love to buy my girlfriends pretty lipsticks or nail polish and I love to wrap them in pretty packages. Here is a great idea for those gifts. 

I used these fun bags, they are large enough for two or three lipsticks. They are even perfect for a gift card or cash$$$

I made a shaker tag out of a die cut and used Peppermint Icicle Sequins & Frosted Cranberry Sequins to fill it up with lots of sparkle.

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Bells will be Ringing

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we are jingling... It's all about bells. Come show us your projects with bells, just be sure to show off that Die cut.  I went with a little more of a traditional and elegant theme.

 I created a small gift box using the MCT treat slider box.

I added some gold bells using another MCT die and filled the treat with some nugget candies. Lastly I tied the treat with Totally Red Trendy Twine

Die Cuttin Diva's - Favorite Sketch with Red and Green

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have a really fun challenge. Pick your favorite sketch and use red and green. I picked a sketch from July, I really loved the design.

I used some dies from MCT that are just so perfect for Christmas cards. I love ornament cards and the branch is fabulous too.

I created the sketch using Christmas patterned paper and then added the fun dies and lastly was the sentiment from APB Let It Snow Stamp Set.

Trendy Twine - So thankful for you

Good Morning!

I'm over on the Trendy blog sharing a Fall card. I can't believe this is the last day of November, WOW, that went quick. I have one last card to share using some gorgeous Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine & the Happy Thanksgiving stamp perfect combo for Fall.

I saw this great big sunflower and thought it would look great with the spiced pumpkin colors. I found some pretty plaid paper and paired the two.

I stamped the sentiment at the bottom because I wanted this to be the focal for the twine.

I had this idea in my head and it was easy and I really liked the way it turned out. I left a space at the bottom of the card and  hole punched holes along the bottom. I simply weaved the twine and tied a bow. Simple but I think it gives a nice finish to the card.

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Make it Sparkle

Hi There!

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week is all about the sparkle. This is my favorite challenge :) I made a treat holder with sparkle and shine overload!

I die cut the treat pouch and then wrapped it with glitter and shine washi tape.

I die cut a tag and stamped it with Congratulations.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! The Trendy team would like to share some Thanksgiving wishes with you. Hop over to the Trendy blog and check out all the gorgeous projects!

I created a simple card but shows off the gorgeous twine so nicely.

I simply die cut a rectangle with a stitched die as the base for my Trendy Twine wreath. I coated my natural twine in glue and shaped it into a wreath. I tied a bow with Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine

Last but not leas,t I stamped the inside of the wreath with a sentiment from the Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Set.

I just want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and may you all enjoy a beautiful dinner and a wonderful day with family and friends.

Die Cuttin" Diva's - Anything Goes

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have our most popular challenge.... Anything Goes! So come over and show us what you're working on, just be sure it has a die cut :)

I know I should really be making Christmas cards, tags, gift cards, but frankly I just wasn't ready for all that. I pulled out some Christmas goodies a while back made a few tags and then put everything back in the cabinet :( true story. I know I'll feel more festive after Thanksgiving. So I made a little thank you card just to have on hand.

Pretty simple card. I recently purchased a bunch of dies from Die Versions and this was one of them. I cut the die first and then I cut again with a stitched circle die which I also purchased from Die Versions. 

I liked the combo of peach, black & white. I added a few liquid enamel dots and the card was complete.

Birthday Celebration for Janice

Hi There!

We have another fun surprise from the Trendy Twine Team and friends! Today is Janice's Birthday! That's Lesley's mom :) what better way to send birthday wishes than to have a little blog hop/post :) I hope you have an extra special day Janice!

I made Janice a card with lots of TT & APB Goodies. I used some of my special paper (you know that paper you save forever) Well this was the perfect occasion to use it :) 

I paired the paper with a die cut balloon and some Cranberry Trendy Twine.  I gave the twine a little twist by simply coating the twine in clear glue and letting it dry around a pencil, paint brush, or anything that is a thin cylinder. I stamped Happy Birthday from the APB smile set and added some GORGEOUS sequins called Christmas Shaker Medley .

Trendy Twine - Have a Wonderful Day!

Hi There!

Today is a VERY special day.... Surprise Lesley, Happy Birthday to you! The design team wanted to celebrate your special day in a special way :) So each of us have a post for you. Thank you for being such a fabulous bloggy boss :) You are so much fun to work with! I sure hope you have a GREAT day!

I know how much you love Kitty:) I just couldn't decide between Hello Kitty and Minnie :) In the end Kitty won. I found an awesome chipboard selection of super cute Hello Kitty's and this one was my favorite.

I simply die cut some rectangles and popped them up for dimension.  I adhered Hello Kitty and added some Totally Red Trendy Twine under the balloon. I used a sentiment from the Smile set. 

I sent Lesley a fun little gift hopefully it makes her smile/laugh. I wrapped the gift with more Totally Red Trendy Twine and added a little tag.
