Die Cuttin Diva's - Say it with LOVE!

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week is all about LOVE! February is a month filled with love, hearts, pink, red, chocolate & more chocolate :) So come join us at DCD and say it with love!

I have a card to share today using a really old cartridge from Cricut. Create a critter. Wow, I just LOVED that cartridge when I first got it and I looked it over when I made this card and thought I still really love it :)

So to start I found a cute "Love" cut on the CAC cartridge and cut it using my gypsy. Yes Gypsy... it still works :)

I'm currently remodeling my craft space. We recently had hardwood floors installed and lower cabinets installed but no counter top. I think we are going to DIY one but just can't decide. I tell you this is going to be a work in progress. For now, it's organized (in boxes) but at least I can find everything. So in all my cleaning and organizing and purging.... I found my edge distresser and thought I would use it. I distressed the edges and forgot how much I like that look :) I love when that happens.
I cut this out and boy it really needed something so I thought I would try and make a shaker out of the heart. Using my gypsy I welded a smaller heart to the large heart and cut it again. It worked perfect.

For my project...
"I created my project for Larelyn on the Cut it Up team."
I wanted to make her a little treat :) So I made a little chap stick treat holder.

I created the holder with some Red and kraft polka dot cardstock and Krafty Red Trendy Twine Just a 3" x 6" strip folder to create a little purse.

I attached the twine to the top and then used a My Creative time Pop up die for the inside to hold the chap stick.

I finished the holder off with some more My creative time dies and a Craftin Desert Divas stamp. A very simple project for your Valentine.  I hope you enjoy your treat Larelyn! Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you enjoyed my little project today and have had a great time hopping along seeing all the fun projects. Your last stop is ...

If you get lost along the way, here is the line-up....

Die Cuttin Diva's - Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week we have a sketch for you. I love a good sketch.

I don't usually use the sketch exactly as is. I try to let my creativity take hold and do something fun. To begin with I turned the sketch, then instead of using paper for the base I stamped some word art. I used some pretty sea foam green, black and gold.
I used a star die cut for the middle and a die cut for the thanks.

Instead of using a heart shape or sequins in the corners, I used gold striped washi tape. I just wanted to show how creative you can get with a sketch or keep it simple. Either way come join the fun at Die Cuttin Diva's

Die Cuttin Diva's - Cake or Cupcake challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week it's all about Cake! Oh my gosh, I LOVE CHOCOLATE CAKE! It's my very favorite. My girlfriend and I may or may not have eaten an entire chocolate cake for dinner once. Please don't judge me :)

This week I made a project and chose not to resemble a chocolate cake because then I would be craving... and I'm trying to eat really clean and healthy right now :)
I found this fun cupcake on the Too Cute by Jessica website.

I added some sprinkles and some gorgeous Orangesicle Trendy Twine. I just LOVE this color!
I also added some Frosty Sequins and a cute sentiment.

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the Cake or Cupcake challenge! We would love to have you.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Hot Cocoa Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week it's all about Hot Cocoa! So get your coca cups, cocoa treats or anything related to hot cocoa and come have some fun with us!

I actually pieced my cup together using shapes from my cricut. I miss doing that. I can't even remember which cartrdges I used but the whip cream is a cloud shape and the cup may be from the Gypsy wandering cartridge.
I used some winter themed paper and added a heart die cut. Super simple and instead of a sentiment I used some paper that had fun sentiments printed and I cut it just right so you can read the Hot cocoa just above the cup :)

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the Hot Cocoa challenge! We would love to have you.

Trendy Twine - You light up my life

Hey Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a fun Valentine treat showcasing our Twine of the month Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine. I just LOVE all the pink themed projects this month. If you love pink make sure you come by everyday we've got lots more for you! I just love the Clear Take Out Boxes from the Boutique so I decided to fill one with some pretty candy and make a Valentine treat box.
For the tag I used a Tag die cut and bold black and white stripes.

For the light bulb I cut two pieces and used a heart die cut to cut a heart in one of the pieces.

I added some of the Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine to the heart and then adhered the other piece to the back. I added some yellow ink and a Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine bow to my bulb and it was complete. Before I attached it to the tag I stamped a sentiment to match my theme and attached the tag to the Clear Take Out Box.

Stop by the Boutique and grab these goodies to make your own treats!
