Yay it's Friday and NO SCHOOL! It's over, summer is here!
Yes, today is the start of summer and Little Scrap Pieces FUN FRIDAY Summer Challenge! So pop over and see all the fabulous summer projects!
Here is my summer card.
I am in love with the new release from PKS. you can check it out HERE The mermaids face is from PKSC-18. I used to tear paper for a lot of my projects before die cut machines came along so I thought I would give it a go.
The mermaid is cut from Cricut cartridge Life is a beach. I tried something new and I just loved how it turned out. I used a heart punch for her scales, can you tell?
I added a mound of MS chunky glitter to this card. For the sand I actually made a paste of glue and glitter to give the sand dimension.

Wow Shelly, what a fabulous little mermaid! Your colors are so fun and I love the scales, the waves and the sand! You did an awesome job on all the texture...I love it! Now...who wouldn't fall in love with this card!
