I recently purchased a bunch of new dies from Wplus9 Dies. They are so awesome! I made this Clean and simple card in no time flat (really... like 10 minutes).

Trendy Birthday gift tag!

Hi There!

I'm over at the Trendy blog, sharing a cute little tag. I hope you all have had a chance to stop by the Trendy blog this month, the DT has been sharing baby themed projects spotlighting Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine & Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine they are both so gorgeous! I'm taking a little break from the Baby projects and sharing a Birthday tag using Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine.

I made a cute little gift tag for a special girl. I used a die cut tag and a PKS stamp from KOTM for the present. I paper pieced the present using pink and brown and couldn't wait to add this fun little Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine  pom pom. I LOVE these. 

I tied a cute little bow at the top added a CDD sentiment and ALL DONE! Easy peasy!

Die Cuttin Diva's - It's all about Fall

Happy Tuesday!!

It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's challenge is all about Fall! Oh my gosh do I love this time of year! I know we're not having Fall weather yet but I'm patiently waiting :) I created a card keeping all thing Fall in mind.

I used ovals from MCT to create this cute little pumpkin, but the background is my favorite! I got out my paper crimper to create this card. I ran some kraft cardstock through the crimper and then gently rubbed white colorbox ink over the top. I then covered it in glitter embossing powder and heat embossed it. It gave the card the prettiest effect, reminds me of an old picket fence.

I embellished the pumpkin with MCT leaves and Trendy Twine - Thanksgiving Orange Truffle. For the stem I used the wood arrow stamps from Peachy Keen March 2013 KOTM and finally I printed a sentiment from my computer, used an MCT label, machine stitched the mats and used TH distress ink.

I LOVE fall! I just want those warm fall colors all around me (even though it's still in the high 90's here). I really love to decorate my home for the holidays. So I created a little Fall decor.

I started with some Mason jars and thanks to many posts on pinterest I created some fun fall decor.

I just picked up some all purpose paint in the colors I wanted and painted several coats. The yellow and orange look better than the brown because I was a little impatient and didn't wait for it to dry before photographing:( Next I took a nail file and ran it over the words and then in various spots to  give the jars a distressed look. I added some pretty fall flowers and burlap twine and a cute tag.

I'm sharing a cute Halloween decoration. I absolutely LOVE to decorate my house so I made a little something to add to my Halloween decoration collection.

I have a HUGE witch hat that I purchased last year in these colors so I thought a smaller one would look cute next to it. I just LOVE how it turned out and in fact it's already on my shelf :) I created a cone out of a piece of paper and hot glued it to a 6" circle piece of card stock. I added a purple silk flower and a great big satin bow and to give it a bit of "spook" I added some thin metal wire and attached some bats.

Finally, I distressed a piece of card stock and stamped this GORGEOUS sentiment from the "Wonderfully wicked" set. This set is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I'm sure you will love it and ALL of the sets in this release, so I'm going to let you hop along to the

Look at this adorable little witch! This is just one of the adorable images on this set!

I stamped the little witch on white cardstock and colored her up with copics and colored pencils. I added some hand punched stars and sequins. I finished the card off with some grape licorice trendy twine and machine stitched the vellum mat.

I tried my hand at stamping on vellum and these stamps are perfect on any medium. The sentiment looks fabulous!

It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's challenge is all about Pirates! Come get creative with us! My little guy was in love with finding treasures. He would dig at the beach and our backyard for hours to find treasure. Now that he's ten, not too much digging anymore :( but our new little neighbor has taken his place. So I made a little tag for his birthday in a few months. 

I chose to use non traditional colors, to make it more kid friendly :)

Craftin Desert Diva's - For your Piggy Bank

Hi CDD Fans!

It's my day to share a card over at Craftin Desert Divas. I'm showcasing one of the newest stamp sets "Just Pigcause" Oh is this the cutest set ever? I have showcased a few sentiments and images from this set HERE & HERE if you would like to see some more inspiration.

Today I'm sharing the sentiment "For your Piggy bank" I thought I would make a little card to go with my son's piggy bank.

I really wanted to make a pig using no pink! Besides pink would just not go with this sports themed piggy bank :) 

I cut this little cutie using the Cricut Playtime cartridge. I just hid all the layers except the ears and I stamped a cute peachy face instead.

The sentiment is from the "Just Pigcause" set and will be back in stock very soon. trust me, it's worth the wait. I added some silver dots that I thought would like like coins :)
