Die Cuttin Diva's - Favorite Sketch Challenge

Hello!

This week over at Die Cuttin Diva's it's a favorite sketch challenge. Which means you can select any sketch and make a project using the sketch you selecting. Just let us know which sketch you choose and don't forget your die cut!
So for this weeks challenge I chose the April sketch. I think it just says "Shaker Card"  to me.

I love shaker cards so much! I started by using some old Christmas paper (I have enough Christmas paper to last me and my kids and probably their kids lifetime) 

I simply used a circle die cut and filled it with some gorgeous sequins appropriately called Frosty from Annies Paper boutique. I Stamped a fun sentiment from My Creative Time.

Lastly, I tied my card with some Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine perfect colors for this card!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Tag, Bag or Box challenge

Happy Tuesday!

This week over at Die Cuttin Diva's we are having a Tag, Bag or Box challenge. My favorite!! I'm sure each of you are going to make some sort of tag for a present or put some treats in a bag or box, so please come over and share what you make! I made more tags:) My mission is to create every tag for every present under our tree. These tags are for our house this year. My theme is red plaid & white, kraft with Chalkboard accents. I'm super excited to start decorating!!

I used all My Creative time products on these tags except for the tree!

I used a tree die cut from Lil inker designs

I had some American Crafts paper from last year and thought it would go pretty good with my theme.

I used some ribbons and Black Licorice Trendy Twine I just love how they turned out and now I just have to make about 50 more - HAHA!!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Thanksgiving Challenge

Happy Tuesday!

This week over at Die Cuttin Diva's we are having a Thanksgiving challenge. I hope all my U.S. friends are ready for the big feast! I know I am. Truly, the best thing about Thanksgiving is the time spent with friends and family nothing is better than that. But the food isn't bad either :) One more thing that I just LOVE about Thanksgiving are the beautiful colors of Fall so I based my card on that.

I used a cloud die for the trees and just hand cut the trunks. I have seen this done before so in no way am I taking credit for the creativity :) I just loved the way it looked.

I stamped the sentiment with a My Creative time stamp and there you have a VERY clean and simple Thanksgiving card.

Trendy Twine - Special Birthday

Hello,

Today is a special day, we've been keeping a secret from someone. Our Trendy team is surprising our Team leader Lesley! Lesley, you are one awesome, generous, kind and lets not forget FUN and sassy :) Lady! I wish you a VERY happy Birthday! I hope you enjoy the cards and goodies and most importantly I hope you have a wonderful day!

I know Lesley loves Hello Kitty so I used some hello kitty colors to make her card.

I used a fun chevron die and a "Happy" die to create this fun little card. I wanted something that matched the gift I sent :)

I hope she likes it!

Trendy Twine - Give Thanks!

Hi There!

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a sweet little treat box sharing a sweet treat box showcasing this months goodies,  Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine & 2x2x2 Kraft Boxes. Have I told you how much I love all the packaging from the Trendy Boutique? I just can't have enough and these adorable little boxes are so cute. Have you seen what the design team has some up with this month? My team inspires me so much :) So I decided to create a little candy treat box.

These boxes come assembled so to create my little treat I had to disassemble just a tiny bit :) So worth it!

I just gently opened the side of the box and used a flower die cut and ran it through my die cut machine. It took all of 30 seconds. Next I just placed some clear acetate over the opening to hold in the candy. I taped up the side of the box and my box was perfectly assembled again.

I covered my box with some pretty Autumn pattern paper.

I added this gorgeous Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine with a die cut leaf and yummy chocolate button and a kraft tag.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Button Challenge

Happy Tuesday!

This week over at Die Cuttin Diva's we have a button challenge. So come on over and join us. Do you have a ton of buttons? I do... every shape, every color, and every size. So I'f you're like me this is a great way to get inspired and use up some of those buttons. I had every intention of using more than one but I had this idea and I decided to use just one :)

I mentioned that I would be making Christmas tags and this is one of them. I love making big huge tags :) I got this idea from a magazine. It was actually a ceramic ornament and I thought (like most of us think) you could totally make this out of paper :) 

I started with a die cut circle about 4", then I cut some felt for the little Elf coat :) added some black card stock for a belt.

I used a MCT label die for the belt buckle and added my black button for a little more detail. Last but not least I added some Black-Licorice-Trendy-Twine and a huge Tulle bow.
