Die Cuttin Diva's - Recycle challenge

Hi Everyone!

Are you enjoying Spring? We have been having summer weather, it's so strange. We were on vacation for 12 days and boy has it been a very hard re-entry :) We are all slowly getting back to normal.

It's Tuesday and you know what that means... challenge day over at DCD. Today's challenge is one for everyone to participate in. I know all us crafters recycle, save, hoard anything that we think we can use later.... am i right? So get those fun items out and come join our Recycled item challenge.

Had anyone heard of Birchbox? It's a monthly subscription of beauty samples. My sister sent me this for my birthday a couple years back and the samples come in this cute box. Well I saved every box :)
I just knew these would be so cute redecorated and used as a gift box.
One of my son's teachers loves tea and her birthday is in May so I thought this would be a great way to package up a little tea gift set. I just simple die cut a couple rectangle stitched dies from Lil inker designs and stamped a sentiment from Peachy Keen stamps
I used another PKS tea cup stamp and cut it out. I used a pretty hot pink satin bow and tied up this little gift.

Come by and join us, have an old gift bag? maybe some ribbon? tin can? mason jars? tags?
We would love to see what you create.

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the challenge! We would love to have you.

Trendy Twine - Grape Fizz Sequin Birthday Card

Hello There Trendy Fans!

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a fun card showcasing the fabulous Grape Fizz Sequins. Oh my gosh, are these sequins gorgeous! They are absolutely a must have!
I just can't help but make a birthday themed card when I create a shaker. I just feel like the sequins add such a festive touch to your card. For the shaker portion of the card I just used a die cut and then just die cut a circle in the center. I actually used two thicknesses of double sided tape so that I could add lots of sequins. It gives them more room to shake around :)
I wanted to keep my card simple and just let those gorgeous sequins shine! I mean, how could you not?
Okay, take a look at these babies... Gorgeous I tell you, so gorgeous!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Get Well Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week we have a Get Well Challenge for you. I don't make many get well cards, but I think it's nice to have and nice to send or give someone not feeling so well.

I welded the letters using my gypsy and cut the "Get Well soon"

I cut this cut little band-aid from a cricut cartridge (not sure which one - sorry)

I added a die cut heart from My creative time. I also added a bit of doodling.

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for "Get Well soon" the  challenge! We would love to have you.

Trendy Twine - Thanks

Happy Monday Trendy Fans!

I'm over on the Trendy blog sharing a Thank you idea using Bumble Bee Trendy Twine. What a fun color for Spring. Earlier in the month I shared a cute little bee card and now I wanted to share a thank you gift.
I started with one of my favorite chevron bags from Annie's Boutique .

.
I tucked a little gift and gift card inside.

On the outside, I made a tag and used a die cut of the word thanks. I tied the tag with Bumble Bee Trendy Twine. I just love the black and yellow and it's not just for bumblebee projects, so I really wanted to share some inspiration without actually using a bumble bee :)

Stop by the Boutique and grab some Bumble Bee Trendy Twine.

Trendy Twine - Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone!

The Trendy team is sharing some fun Easter projects with you today! I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy the time with your family and friends. We are going to church and then having the family over for Easter lunch. I did manage to make a few small treats for the kids but I also wanted to make a cute centerpiece for the kids table. I thought this was a fun idea.

A cute little bunny centerpiece!

I used a popcorm box from Annie Boutique and filled it with fun candy eggs. I added a little bunny with his head in the candy box. I just used ovals for the feet and body and then I made his bushy tail with a Tickled pink Trendy Twine.
This box is such a great size, I'm going to add it to a little wooden crate I found at Target and fill the crate with moss and more candy eggs :) A fun centerpiece for the kids table :)
Such an easy project and really no special tools needed.

I wish you a VERY HAPPY EASTER!

Stop by the Boutique and grab these fun treats!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Button Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. Today we have a fun challenge using buttons. Come and play along with us.

Okay... so I'm a little late I know. But these were the little note cards I made for St. Patty's day.

I used a stitched rectangle die for the card then I cut a shamrock in the center and lined the card with acetate and added a lime green button. I just love the look of the acetate and you can do this with any shape. I may try a bunny or Easter egg :)

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the Button challenge! We would love to have you.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Mystery/Detective

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. We have a fun challenge for you :) It's a mystery inspired challenge. You have to stop by the DCD blog and check out the inspiration.

I used a fun file from SVG cutting, and the sentiments are from Scrappy Mom stamps and My Creative time.

Oh this little guy is too cute with his big eye in that magnifying glass. The eyes are two sizes from Peachy Keen Face stamps. I used some pattern paper that resembled newspaper and used the new MCT edge die it gives a torn edge look. Lastly, I inked up the paper to give it that old look :)

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the Mystery/Detective challenge! We would love to have you.
