I used a bunch of goodies on this card :) The paper is scraps from last year - YAY for me! My scrap files are way out of control. I really wanted to use the CDD Sentiment Pint Sized Patriot from the Celebrate Freedom Stamp set. So I actually recycled this little girl from an old card that I made but never used :)

And now for my project....

I just fell in LOVE with this sentiment from the "Bring on the Cake" set. From the moment I saw this sentiment I knew exactly what I would make. An inchworm of course followed by a ruler obviously :) 

I found some awesome paper by Crate Paper and created a sweet little worm from Create a critter and balloon to match. Lastly, I added a PKS face and some gold sequins. I know I said this last time but this time I really really really mean it... This is a MUST have set.  It has everything on it you will ever need for a Birthday project!!

Die Cuttin Divas - I Vow To Thee My Country

This is my first post for the day, please click HERE for my CDD post. 

It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's theme is to make a project featuring your country. Hmmm, can you guess my country?

I created some utensil place settings for a 4th of July BBQ.

I started with the most FABULOUS wooden forks & spoons from Trendy Twine

I placed the wooden forks & spoons in a Glassine Bag  also from Trendy Twine and tucked a fun flag napkin behind them :) 

Added some striped paper and stamped it with a sentiment from CDD - Celebrate Freedom and topped it with a polka dot star (LID- Stitched Stars die set) & some GORGEOUS Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine

I'm back with a little more inspiration from the newest Scrappy Mom Stamp Set  Ticket to Adventure. I decided to crate a layout. This is a picture from when my entire family...30 of us went on a cruise.  I think it was the best vacation ever :) If you have been on a cruise then you know the life vest drill - we all had a really FUN time with it :) I thought the sentiment was perfect for this picture. That's the hubs, my uncle and I. This picture just makes me smile - we had such a FUN time!

We've got some FUN in store for you.... Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of the four new stamp sets. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday, we will have a blog hop with prizes each day. The design team has some amazing creations to start this stamp release party.

So I selected the sentiment "HB2U" to showcase! I love this sentiment, it's pretty popular right now and I think you can make a traditional card/project or a trendy fun card/project. Also, it's perfect for boys too.  I actually made 3 cards using this sentiment but today I'm sharing the more traditional card.

Scrappy Moms Stamps - Guest Designer

Hi Everyone!

Today I have the honor of being a guest designer for the Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release. Thank you so much SMS for having me! Boy, did I get lucky...these are two VERY cute sets.

The first set is called monster mania, oh my gosh...sooo much FUN! You'll see lots of inspiring projects over the next week from the DT and me :)  This set can be used for a monster themed birthday, Halloween, Valentines Day.... it is such a GREAT set!! 

The next set is called Ticket to Adventure. It is AWESOME! It is absolutely perfect for scrapbooking your adventures! I LOVE it!!

Today I used the Monster Mania Set and for my first project I created a Birthday card.

EYE (hee-hee) just LOVE the fun sentiments on this release. I wanted to create a fun little monster but still keep him kind of cute :) I picked one from the Mini monsters Cricut Cartridge and inked up a cute face. I created a fun little banner for my little monster to hold and added some stars and stitching.

Oh my gosh how FUN is this challenge :) My favorite color is pink... all shades of pink and at the moment I'm having a coral/salmon color obsession. Well it kind of started last summer with a dress I bought, then a swim suit, then shorts, then sandals..... get the 
idea :) Obsessed!

I started with the CDD - Summer Lovin stamp set and the Sunshine Smiles sentiment

The paper is from American crafts (I love this ombre paper) & Kraft Cardstock which actually is another favorite color of mine :) 

I cut the sun from Create a Critter & finished it off with a cute little face from Peachy Keen stamps PK-460 Happy Lashes.

Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge. Today's theme is make a project using Black plus one other color.  So does that kind of freak you out? I actually LOVED this challenge - because it did just that...It challenged me :) So here's what I came up with.

I think it's so difficult to make a card when we lose someone, not sure about you but I really don't feel creative. So it certainly isn't that card we like to make but it is easier to make them when you don't need them, and why not make it pretty too :)

Craftin Desert Divas "Picture That" Set

Hi Everyone!
It's my day to share a card over at Craftin Desert Divas. Today's card is inspired from the newest release "Picture That". I just LOVE this set, super popular right now and perfect for cards or scrap booking. Last week during the release I showcased the sentiment "Happy Day" HERE & the fabulous picture frame HERE. Today I'm showcasing "Always".

I made a card for my baby :) I used my gypsy for this project, but all you need to do is die cut your letters or even use up some of those old font stickers... mix and match styles and sizes. If your familiar with using the Gypsy just use the weld button on each letter and you should be able to cut your image in one piece.

I layered the words to give the project dimension. I just added pop dots in between the layers. Okay I have a question...... Why don't they make pop dots in different colors??? Or do they?? I don't like to see the white dots peeking through when I use dark paper, so I always color the outside of the dot with marker. hmmm, my thought for the day - HAHA

Pretty simple project, the hardest part was selecting my color scheme.  I just couldn't pick the right combo :) In the end I love the pink, white & black.

As always with CDD stamps - crystal clear image. No need to press hard, crisp and clear every time!
